Default partially missing download list

I had a lot of Youtube videos on my list. I added some new links from Instagram and when I restarted JDownloader, a lot of my old links were gone.

I have searched the forum for a solution. I am still not sure how to successfully recover the missing links from the cfg folder.

Here is a screenshot of (some) of the contents from the cfg folder.

I would like to reset the list to one from a couple of days ago. Please help

use the modified date i guess to determine which one you need

close jd
cut paste the other downloadlist*.zip outside of cfg/
then copy one of the backuped zips and rename it without .backup
start jd
and see if its what you want.

Thank you for your help raztoki.

I did what you said (I had to repair the zip file first). Everything seemed to work until I restarted JDownloader. No links appeared at all.

I chose a different backup file (they all seem to need to be repaired first) and the result was the same - nothing shows on the list

well you still have your original you moved, you could always revert to that.

Yes, I might have to create the download list again.

Thanks for your help

I don't understand what the problem could be.

The really annoying part is I can successfully extract all the links from the Zip file - so they're all there.
I extracted them and put them in a new Zip just to see if that would work

Is there any other thing I could try before giving up and starting again?

Thanks again.

you don't have to extract the zips, just as to be the highest numbered zip and in the correct naming format (.backup needs to be removed from backups). then it should load on start.

Yeah, it's weird raztoki, I did exactly what you said to do.

The backup file converts to a Zip - as it is supposed to. But it does not open when I start Jdownloader. What would be corrupting the file?

I know I don't have to extract the Zips - I just did that to check the Zip file wasn't corrupted. I tried to extract the files (with WinRAR) it says the archive is corrupt.

I found a solution to the problem.

As I said earlier, when I converted my backup files to Zip files, they are corrupt and will not load when I start Jdownloader.

However, if I repair the Zip file and extract the list ...and then add that list to an existing download Zip file - it will run when I start Jdownloader.

I have no idea why my backups are corrupt. Thanks for your help raztoki

Thanks for the feedback. JDownloader will auto backup broken zips to .backup files.

Seems misleading, why not .broken?
