Default An error occured

Downloadlist makes show "An Error occured!" for sometimes hoster.
I must then reset download. Also weird no retry when this error.
Can script this?
Can add to interval script that checking for slow download?
What is "An Error occured!" to check for and what is reset action to carry out?

JD is designed to fretry but only if it makes sense.
Most times for unknown errors there will be no retries.
To further check/fix your issues, we'd need to have example URLs and a log:
Please post your log-ID here | bitte poste deine Log-ID hier.

Yes, using the EventScripter.

As explained above, it most likely happens on unknown errors.

Hello,
I have the same problem:

Hello,
I made the settings according to the website: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

The JDownloader says Account OK: Premium Account.

Under usage rules I added rapigator and uploaded. I removed the hooks at free.

Nevertheless it can't be downloaded. I'm getting the message in JDownloader: Your download could not be started. An error occurred while trying to fetch your file from the hosting website. Please try again. If the problem persists please contact our email support! Error Code 4. Error while getting response from Rapidgator. etc.

1. Linkifier has an especially bad reputation.
2. Multihosters are unstable in general - your log contains more than 30 failed download attempts over linkifier.
3. Read:

Hello/Hallo,
English:
You've reported a multihoster issue.
Please keep in mind that most of all times, these issues are caused by the multihoster and NOT by JDownloader.
You can simply verify this by following these simply steps:
1. Get the exact link that failed in JDownloader.
2. Open your browser, open the website of your multihoster and log-in, then try to download your URL through the website of your multihoster.
3. Now you should see an error message.
This would indicate that it is an issue which has nothing todo with JDownloader --> You'd have to contact the support of your multihoster and ask them for a bugfix.
If you are able to download the URL without any issues via browser over your multihoster but it keeps failing in JD, this would indicate a JDownloader issue.
Please only report such issues here when you've verified this before and think that the issue is caused by JDownloader!
Extra hint:
By default JDownloader will prefer the download over premium accounts.
If there are problems however, JD may fallback to free (without account) download mode.
You can prevent this by adding so called "account usage rules" for each host (e.g. "uploaded.net") you are using (do NOT add rules for the multihost, always only for the original host you want to download from!):
https://support.jdownloader.org/inde...ticle/View/29/
By adding an account usage rule, you can prevent JD from ever trying the free download mode and force JD to always try using your premium accounts.
However, if the multihosters you are using are unreliable, this won't really help.

https://support.jdownloader.org/inde...ticle/View/29/
