That problem has never been reported so why should there be any progress on it?
Fixed.

Keep in mind that the other issue with direct-URLs still exists thus download of such items may still fail with "Error 503".

Problem with above link. In JD they are loaded with media-files8 as the subdomain. In the browser they are loaded with cdn8, which then redirects to i8 as a subdomain.

If you set max chuck to 20 the download will start but fail, it may also fail when scanning (Decryting) I've tested and found max 2 connection is possible.

Edit: JD throwing file not found, but it was able to scan it one time (randomly).

JD shows many files as online in LinkGrabber but they fail to download. One example that doesn't work: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

The remaining issue is that one known issue we've already talked about.
It needs to be fixed by another developer.

We've just pushed a huge update for bunkr which should fix all issues you've reported.
Here is a rough overview of the biggest changes:

• Simultaneous downloads are now allowed (starting sequentially until the connection limit is hit, mostly "error 503" or "error 429" will happen then)
• Fixed internal correction of domains: All bunk domains, also links containing dead domains, should be working just fine
• Added proper dupe-detection throughout different URL-formats of bunkr links
• Album description is set as package-comment
• Bunkr downloads will start immediately
• Fixed issue with some files being displayed as "File not found" when they were not. Same happened for temporary errors like "Error 403" -> Fixed

Hello,

I have come across a problem where some video files will be temporary not available and redirect to a mp4 file (5seconds lenght and saying the video will be online again later). maybe such redirects could be detected and handled to try the file again later. right now those files get downloaded instead and marked as completed/ok.
These files are always same in size (322.509 bytes) .. maybe this could be a way to detect this.
I do not know if the resolved download URL changes later (I don't have a non-working file right now to give an example.. but i noticed many downloaded files of this size in my running downloads before).

edit: the filename is sometimes saved as maintenance-vid.mp4 .. but other times it was saved as the original filename but with the wrong content and size

it happened still after the 09.08. update .. but it might have been files that were added to the download list before and might be processed different back then.

any of the .rar archives from the below link fail to download in JD even after the latest update. Otherwise bunkr seems to work fine now, although I have noticed the same issue as mikk88 above for temporarily unavailable files.

no idea if these files are really ever coming online again some time later, but it would be nice if JD would not download the error video and set the status to Finished.

btw. not a bigger problem: but maybe that random suffix on the filenames could be ignored/removed on downloading? (here: "-6ozbeX5a") .. I'm not sure if its changing sometimes but the websites that link to the files do not include this suffix in the preview of the filenames (can be seen in the example too).

At this moment I'm not planning on doing this since that suffix is also included when you're downloading those files via browser so it is part of the desired filenames from the bunkr website I guess(?)

You can easily remove that suffix using a Packagizer rule.

about the suffixes: totally fine with me, its really just a minor thing. I noticed their downloads have these sometimes and other times not .. maybe they just try to randomize their links or so (came across duplicates too like with and without it for the same file, but JD recognized those as mirror too so that's fine really).

Actually they always have them.

The suffix will be appended later when the link is checked agan and/or the download is started.

I will add a setting for that as the bunkr plugin seems to be used by a lot of people but at this moment as explained, you can do this by using a Packagizer rule.

No worries now that we've started to refactor this plugin it makes sense to keep working on it until it works properly.

sounds good! this explains too then why I saw both names in the download-list (with the mirrors) but only those with the suffix in the actual downloaded files.

A JD restart shouldn't be needed.

seems like the filename changed compared to the one that I had in the downloadlist ("...ov do..." became "...ov-do...") and I only tried to reset and redownload the entry in my list.
Now I removed and readded the link and it downloaded just fine.

I haven't added any filename modifications yet but I started to work on the "remove fileID" setting.
What I noticed:

• I'd say filenames you see in albums are the original filenames
• Filenames that you get later do not only include the fileID but also some other changes e.g. spaces are replaced by minus

I got the "prefer name without ID" handling working here already.
Now I just need a name for that setting and some better testing.
Here are my suggestions for the name of that setting:

• Fix filenames?
• Filenames: Selection between "Don't touch" and "Album filenames" and maybe "Auto"
• Remove fileID from filename?
