Default "ALT+P" misfunction

Hello there, thanx for a couple of years i enjoy JDownloader...
But unfortunately I face a tiny problem for a couple of monthes - download list is not executed properly. My JD version is the newest as i update when available. Operating system is Windows XP S3. Everything was ok previously.
That is my problem: when download list is ready, Start Downloading button (Alt+P) does not starts the process, just becomes inactive and that is all... To start the process I mark one or several items in the list and use Forced Download ("FD") command in right mouse pop-up menu. It only starts the downloading if Status is empty. When multiple downloadings some threads terminate with following Status notifucations:
-Disconnect
-Download incomplete
-Host Error
-No Connection
-Connection Timed Out. Wait..
-Temporarily Unavailanle. Wait...
-Connection Lost...

I use the subsiquent "Disable"&"Enable"&"FD" commands or "Resume"&"FD" (when Resume option is active). How may i repair the ALT+P function and force terminated threads resume automatically? Thanks for assistance. I think it's not program fault - some OS misfuctions..

Cool

I recommend to :-

1) Allow java and javaw in your firewall and virus software. Disable (or un-install) the html/web download scanner in your virus software.

2) Reduce the Max.Con. setting (bottom right corner of jD window) to 1. Reset the affected links.

If this doesn't work please provide some example links anda complete and detailed log.
