Tried all that and still the same, settings is completely blank. If I re-install the older jdownloader, Rapidgator shows up on the host list but does not want to recognize my premium.

I just did a fresh re-install of the first jdownloader and it works fine. So, I'm not going to bother with jdownloader 2 again..... pain in the butt.

I was succesfully using jdowloader 2 beta build feb 12 and after having done the update today, I cannot use it anymore. when collecting a url, he cannot finfd the file to download and instead I have the below error.
I am not using Windows firewall but Norton symantec.cloud

Any idea where this is coming from ?

I've got the same problem since update Jdownloader today. Every new file entry in my linklist does not have a filesize. It's not possible to check the online status of the files. I get the message "Plugin defekt Fehler: Throwable" when I try to download a file. I'm using a premium account of uploaded.to
Please help.

JD beta 2, which used to work like a charm, is of no use for me. I used to have a perfect view of what I was going to download (I have a few Premium accounts, legit!), but now all what I get is the files are unavailable on the hoster, or 'plugin obsolete'. The funny thing is that if I go directly to the hoster to download, the files are there and I can download no problem va the browser. Also, I do not get any longer the name of the files, but obly strange numbers that have no reference to the files that I want to download (and that I CANNOT download now). I am attaching a jpg of the JD download screen as of a few minutes ago.
How can I revert to the situation before the latest update, that was perfection itself?

Is it a problem with the hoster plugin, if no hoster does work anymore? Tested with extabit, ryushare, uploaded, cloudzer.

I insert the links with click 'n load, JD cannot find the name or the size of the file. After starting the download i get the error message see above.

Wo finde ich diesen Link? Nach der Meldung "Logs werden hochgeladen" wurde nix angezeigt.

Der Ordner in meinem Log-Ordner hat den Namen 1360698277081_20.44
Hilft das bei der Suche?

Es wird komplett keine Verbindung aus dem JD zu irgendwas aufgebaut. Weder via LinkChecker noch via Upload der LOGs oder auch nur über den Account-Check. Alles schägt fehl. Via LOGs finde ich reproduzierbar:

Das sollte die Entstörung schon mal in die richtige Richtung schubbsen. LOGs gibt es via Upload aus dem JD jedenfalls nicht da die Funktion nicht mehr greift.

same problem here. after the latest update the premium accounts don't work anymore. in the account manager the accounts would show "Zeitweise deaktiviert" + Time instead of the expiration date of the account. it happens to all differnt premium accounts, not only to one speciffic one. furthermore the downloads show the error "throable". must be a global bug. has JD2 been deactivated? can't even download without the premium accounts set active. very strange though.....

It doesn't seem to be wanting to do an unrar anymore? I have no idea who did the latest update for jdownloader2 but it has been seriously dodgy since yesterday.

I have about 10, 15 hosters in my link list, no one works...

My settings are invisible as well. coalado, I've sent you a PM with my teamviewer ID and password.

Same here...that whole area about unrar missing from the set up screen.

Availability of JD2x86 shows "?/1 Online" for every file and hoster selection.
So, nothing downloads.

But JD2x64 works fine for same files, as Availability shows the same file to be Online!

Have you guys run updater again? they refactored a bit yesterday and some of the api calls changed slighty. The referenced error is one that changed, within JD2 and appwork project.

i have a major issue as I now actually have non of these (above images) and im quite concerned, i recently switched from the stable 0.9 etc and moved to jd2 a few days ago (for faster host update reasons) i downloaded the offline installer, and it did automatically update, however i have no
"jdownloader update " in the start menu,
no updater.jar or updater.jar or update.exe nothing like this in my jd directory??

im concerned because i can not do a manual update anymore!!

the only real difference with the different installers, is it provides different loaders (exe) which find java and start jdownloader. Sets the associated file associations (dlc/containers) to the correct loader/application. The jdownloader code is exactly the same.
Your security products might need exceptions created for the other loaders.

I think that now everything is changing so fast that what was true two weeks ago, are now out of date.

No it is not this reason because I did not change something or add something before last update.

Anyway, the problem was solved by reinstalling JD2 after uninstalling all of it...

I used offline installer of JD2

JD2 becomes better but it is not good idea to install updates once every day.

Something sometimes does not work well.

AND ONE BUG IN NEW Update

When i tried to complete Download folder name in Settings
the Subfolder by Package Option does not work well.

Run Manual updates until there is not update left
