Did you already try to completely un-install your virus an firewall software? Please reboot your computer after you've done that.

It seems that connection to NL is not good, I got the same problem again today, even the browser failed. :(

well, that's not nice of netload...

However jDownloader should not get stuck because of this.... why do I set a connection timeout if it's completely ignored?! (perhaps the values set in the options are ignored?)

You might have identified the real cause of your troubles. If your problem doesn't happen with other hosts we know the cause. In order to be sure you need to use links of other hosts and stop downloading from NL.

Then only detailed logs and example links can help the devs finding the cause.

Look here for logging instructions (please, read them carefully).

an app you installed on both boxes is causing the interference.
whats the same with the 2 computers? bandwidth monitor? star dock? screen saver?
some app hardly anyone else uses. maybe a tweak to the OS or the browser?

software which is installed on both computers:

- firefox (+noscript, Ad Block)
- jDownloader
- Synapctics Mouse Driver

one of the computers has no software installed except for jDownloader and Firefox.

@remi: were the last 2 logs not okay? they were made like you described it before...

okay, i'll try to make "better" logs now

Can you disable "Ad Block" for a while in order to see whether it solves your problem?

bodzik155, please, read this thread from the beginning and tell us what you tried.

If it's not yet sufficiently clear, allow java.exe and javaw.exe in your firewall and virus software. Disable the html/web scanner in your virus software.

If you still have problems, provide detailed logs. Instructions have been provided several time in this thread.

Default Happens to me as well

Windows 7 Ultimate
Windows firewall disabled
No anti virus software at all
router firewall disabled
Rapidshare premium

i can download until the connections are timed out. after 1 hour apx. i have all 5 (i run 5 connections, 5 max dls) in "connecting..." status.

I am trying the nightly now, let's see how it works (meanwhile it looks good).

When will you release a build to fix this? it makes JDownloader really unusable.

Thanks,

Omri

I wouldn't disable your router's firewall. You're playing a dangerous game here.

I see you didn't read post #16. Please, read the first sentence carefully.

This is not a workaround. It just solves the problem caused by opening too many connections.

Good night.
