The splash screen shows up and stays, main window does not open.
(Perhaps same problem like on MacOS?) Last NIGHTLY where main window did open was 0.6.822. (Using Win 2k/XP, main window still is opening.) Tested on Ubuntu 8.04 LTS, Ubuntu 9.04 and Debian Lenny with Sun JRE 6 update 14. **External links are only visible to Support Staff**Here's a startup log from Ubuntu 8.04. Yes, confirmed. Same problem here... the console output says its somethin with synthetica...
Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0" java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: de/javasoft/plaf/synthetica/SyntheticaRootPaneUI at jd.gui.skins.jdgui.JDGui.initLocationAndDimension(JDGui.java:257) at jd.gui.skins.jdgui.JDGui.<init>(JDGui.java:132) and a couple of more lines... Quite a shame since the latest nightlies that worked were really good and really fast... |

Affirmative. Using the latest nightly build (current version 0.6.883), main window is opening again.
Besides, the styles list now contains the Synthetica styles, too. |

But they dont work for me (Win 7 x64), didnt try on linux since Synthetica wasnt there on linux before.
Any ideas why its not working on win 7? It looks like I didnt select any theme. Do I have to manually download anything? Last edited by trinax; 29.07.2009 at 13:03. |

I'm working with Mac OS X 10.5.7 and just changed to Nightly (have the well-known problem with hotfile - links are "offline"). It started automatically and since that loaded - for about 15 Minutes. It didn't start. I aborted it and started jdupadate.jar, after which the same happened. Any hints? In general: thanks to all developers for your work!
Edit: I now started Nightly from the programme package - it updated and is working now. There was a link to an older version of jd which opened when I started jd. Last edited by steppen.wolf; 01.08.2009 at 15:31. Reason: Please delete post - problem solved |
