Downloads @ 100% continue to download-slowly
I am again experiencing another intermittent issue.
**mod -- This is different than my other post. JDownloader says download is 100% but continues to download data. This happens pretty infrequently but I've noticed that when certain downloads reach 100% they slow down to BYTE instead of KB. I never really paid attention to how long it does take to complete but currently I've 3 d/l that have been coming in at 5-500BYTE/s. They've been going (off & on) for 3 days! Windows says they are still incomplete files. http://i.imgur.com/gaoyQPt.jpg Here is the log file -- 17.04.15 12.26.38to12.04.15 12.39.13 jdlog://2935614718241/ I'm running Win7 w/SP1 JD2 Beta, Build 4-12-15 Java 8, update 25 Windows Firewall (?) (Never touched it) A/V - Avast! |

I did not uninstall avast, only disabled.
Haven't changed any settings for a few months. (Had past issues with corrupt d/l, advised to increase # of chunks, from 1 ((I chose 10)), speed did increase and corruptions diminished.) Current settings = max connection - 12 max chunk - 10. I manually clear d/l list when complete and I user winrar to extract archives. |

Please try without avast (uninstall, disable it is not enough, it still is active).

It seem my last post got deleted, so I'll repost...
O.K. I uninstalled avast. I rebooted my system. I restarted JDownloader, and I am still having the same problem. JDownloader says d/l complete but continues to d/l at a very slow rate, 10B/sec to 1 or 2KB/sec. Windows says they are not complete. Interestingly, server says file size is 405MB, which is what JDownloader say it d/l. Windows says completed file size is 414.72MB |

Windows says and server says? What do you mean?
It can also be an issue on server side that the end of file is broken/bad sector/issue in server software.

O.K. Let me see if I can break it down for you.
When I look at how much one of these files has been downloaded, windows indicates the file size is 414.69MB. The 2 files that windows shows as complete are 414.72MB in size. Windows indicates that anything less than 414.72MB is incomplete. Nitroflare servers indicate that the file size is 405MB. JDownloader shows the same thing, file size of 405MB. (But continues to d/l) You could be correct about possible problems on the server side, ie. broken file, bad sectors and other unknown server issues. But I do not think there are any of those issues as I have downloaded 9 of 15 files as a "free" user from nitroflare and have have had NO ISSUES. 9 of 15 downloaded successfully, @ 414.72MB each. |

It can be many causes:
-Firewall/AV -Server Issues -Force "premium" by slowing down end of file -Detect tools by slowing down end of file

Yep.
I've got a 3Mb connection and that is what the test show. |

The Screenshot shows that the download does not happen direct, it happens via a Multihoster.

And that is where the slow speed comes from.

Thanks but I think u missed the point.
Jdownloader is still downloading a file it say is complete and windows say is not. Speed is NOT the issue here. Thanks for trying. Last edited by moonerbob; 02.06.2015 at 20:27. Reason: forgot a line. |

Can you provide a new Logfile. Restart JD and only try to download this file, then create log. Your previous log contains a lot of other stuff
