Default Captcha dialog

Hi,

Whenever a captcha dialog pops up, interacting with it will bring jDownloader to the front.

This is a very annoying behaviour and it would be great if we'd have an option to control it.

Thanks in advance,
M

Which kind of captcha do you mean?
I suppose you mean a browser captcha and not an image captcha?

If you are using Windows:
See Settings --> User Interface --> Show new dialogs ... -->According to Windows 10/8 specifications

Hi,

I mean dialogs popping up with the title "Enter captcha for ... to continue!" with "Open Browser" and "Cancel" buttons.

I'm on Mac, "According to Windows 10/8 specifications" is insulting ;-)

Joke aside, setting to macOS standards will make the application icon jumping up and down, and it's at least equally annoying.
Moreover, the problem is not the dialog popping up, but the main window is raised after pressing Cancel and it's not the best option for everybody (I hate it because it's disrupting).

Cheers,
M

Do you mean pressing "cancel" in the captcha dialog from JD will bring up the main JD Window --> Annoying?

I guess the "icon jumping up and down" will be a default thing of Mac whenever an application needs user-interaction (?)
Sorry, I'm not really familiar with Macs ...

Yep.

Yeah, the bouncing icon means the app requires user attention on the Macs.

So what would we have to do to avoid this?
Add the abolity to not display the browser-captcha dialog at all and only open the browser window?

It would be nice if we could have an option to NOT raise the main window of jDownloader regardless the action invoked in the captcha request dialog.
