Code:
1.1.1954 22:40 *test1 erfolgreich gestartet. (Aktion: bla) 1.1.1954 22:41 *test1 erfolgreich beendet. (Aktion: bla) 2.2.1955 23:15 *test2 erfolgreich gestartet. (Aktion: blubb) 2.2.1955 23:15 *test2 erfolgreich beendet.

After the last 2 updates the program is tooo slow to open and when it open is toooo slow to appear correctly.
Sometimes even when it open i can't see anything at all even i have it maximized i see all other programs and not the jd2 window. A temponary solution is to completely close and re-open the program. Why is that happening? Last edited by Agnostos; 24.02.2016 at 15:33. |

Can you reproduce the issue? Can you provide a logfile? Or lets do a teamviewer session? There have been no updates that could cause such bad performance.

I upload the log file but some times i see black screen, some others the prg is tooooo late to open, some others is stuck.
And all these kind of issues begin to appear after the last 2 updates before the program works just fine. Something is happening with tray icon because when i open the program i just see a black window but when i close that from the win7 taskbar and press the icon down right then it comes up normally. So maybe is something with the tray icon settings because when i completely turn of the tray icon the programs open normally. Edit: I search and find the choice of the tray icon settings that cause the issue is "start minimized" Here is the logfile you ask jdlog://2860542995541 Last edited by Agnostos; 24.02.2016 at 16:10. |

Don't have any issues when you enable these settings at tray icon |

I'm under linux, things work different there. But we already found the issue and will be fixed with next core update

Scheduler -> Restart
Hi all,
I would really appreciate a feature to use the scheduler to restart JDownloader add a given time. The reason is simple: JDownloader has many updates coming. If JDownloader runs on a server 24/7 this would be nice way to keep JDownloader uptodate, because at the restart JDownloader will perform an update to the latest version. It would be even better if the scheduler had a way to set condition, e.g. only run the task if a certain condition is met or not met. Specifically: update if no download are running. Thanks for considering. Regards, olluz |

@olluz: you could
1.) add eventscript for *downloads stopped* and then check for pending updates and restart 2.) add eventscript for xy intervall and then check for running downloads/extraction and check for pending updates and restart. The scheduler is not meant to check conditions, please use the eventscripter for that

I have the March 31 2016 build, and the scheduler seems to have broken. I had a job set to start downloads at a certain time, and it no longer starts.
I set the time, and it has a "next execution" date/time, and the time comes and goes and the "next execution" date is cleared, but nothing happens. |

Try to remove the event and add it again. Maybe a change in timezone might be the cause of this (summer/winter time)

Does it work?
I set the scheduler to download early the next morning. When I woke up the next morning, I got a "go go go!" dialog, but the download had not started. The list was in my linkgrabber and the action to execute was "start downloads". Should I have used a different action (eg. add all downloads) or is this a bug?

Can you provide a screenshot of the dialog?
Start Downloads -> only starts links in linkgrabber In case you have links in Linkgrabber, you have to move them to download list first.

Thanks for replying Jiaz. I will have to wait until tomorrow morning to screenshoot the dialog.
Until then, I'm a little unclear on your next two statements. If "start downloads" starts links in the linkgrabber (lingrabber tab has a list of files to download), then the "start downloads" command in the scheduler should have moved them to the downloads tab and started the downloads. But in the next statement you say that if I have links in linkgrabber, I have to move then to downloads first. This seems to contradict what you just said, doesn't it? Or what am I missing? If not, how would I move them to the downloads tab without them starting automatically? Because that is what happens when I click the play button. Is there a way to move them over and have them just sit waiting in the downloads tab/area? Thanks, Mat |

|
||||
Start Downloads only starts links in DownloadList. Links in Linkgrabber are not moved. You should first call "Add All Downloads" and then "Start Downloads". First move links from Linkgrabber to Downloads and then start them.
Click Button in GUI works differently because there you have a visible GUI. But scheduler cannot work on the GUI because a GUI is not always available (headless mode) and the action should always work the same way. In GUI mode it works on the current view.

Is there a way to activate / deactivate DLs from a specific hoster? There are times when one host reduces free speed so much it slows down other DLs because of excessive reconnect waiting times.
For such scenarios it would be really handy being able to disable downloads from a specific hoster at 7:30 PM and reactivate at 2:00 AM for example. AKF |

for that you would need to use the eventscripter and write a script to enable/disable those hosts. The scheduler is not able to do this. You can contact mgpai (in english) and ask for help. He is very talented with the eventscripter

Scheduler - uncheck "not skip"
Hi,
I'm using jdownloader in combination with a premium multihoster (premium.to). Sometimes premium is temporarily not available for a certain hoster and I'm downloading from a non supported hoster with "low speed" in parallel. It would be a nice feature to have a scheduler rule to uncheck the "not skip" entry for example every 5 minutes for a certain hoster on skipped downloads, where premium was temporarily not available. In German it is "nicht überspringen" where i have to uncheck manually. cheers Jan |

Please use the eventscripter for such special needs. You can code scripts in javascript that run in interval. You can ask mgpai (in english) for help. He is very talented with the eventscripter

24-Hour Clock ••• Please!
Hello, and thank you to the developer(s) for the fantastic JDownloader. Friends and family members who already use it for their own downloads, recommended it to me, and it is only recently that I started using it.
Having used the Scheduler-function very often so far, I wish to give you some feedback by commenting that I find the absence of a 24-hour clock probably the most frustrating part of using the Scheduler. Please, would the developer favourably consider providing a 24-hour clock as an option for setting download schedules? I also find some of the Action & Parameter options quite confusing. For instance, which parameter do I choose when I want the Scheduler to move all, or a particular selection of files depicted in the Linkgrabber tab, to the Downloads tab at the scheduled time, and start the downloads immediately? Thank you. PS. Interested parties who want to read more about the pros and cons of the 12-hour and 24-hour clocks, may wish to refer to these pages: 12-hour Clock. What exactly do you mean by *absence of a 24-hour clock probably the most frustrating part* ? Can you please explain?
My timer works from 00:00 to 24:00.
