Default too many files linkgrabber just crashes and i can't clear it

i tried to download a file from a old website that hosts old cartoons, turns out it was a mistake and the linkgrabber went crazy finding 10's of 1000's of links. i cant seem to delete them, they are stuck and i don't know what to do.

Clear the clipboard or copy a word then restart JD.

ok.. so i dont know whats going on, but restarting does not help, they don't disappear when i restart JD. the list is still full of the links. it's 100's of thousands of links. i cleared the clipboard, but the list of links is still populated.

whenever i try to delete the links or click something else JD just freezes. is there a way to clear out the linkgrabber list from outside the program? also, for the future, can i set it to not "remember" the linkgrabber list when i shut down the program?

right now my JD is completely unusable, restarting JD or even my computer does not help. do i have to uninstall and reinstall the whole program?

The links are kept in \cfg, the names linkcollector...zip so you can exit JD and delete those, if you don't want to keep any list.

I guess you have too many links in list and memory is too small. You can check about dialog of JDownloader and may wish to increase the available memory to easily handle thousands/hundrets of thousands of links OR you use the hard kill way and just delete the list from disk as tony2long explained.

ok, i actually ended up uninstalling and reinstalling linkgrabber as it seemed easier to me lol and that worked fine.

is there a way i can instruct linkgrabber to only ever grab links to video files? i never ever use JD for anything besides video. i don't mean using a filter to display only video links, i mean can i instruct linkgrabber to just totally ignore anything that's not a video file?

thanks so much for the help!

You can setup Filters in Settings-Linkgrabber Filter. Please try yourself and ask if you need help/got questions
