RECU.ME is not working again after recent update after adding the cookie login sucessfully all the downloads still says blocked by cloudfare and cannot download it. Please help team.

and even when it works its constantly interrupted with error failed plugin and blocked by cloudfare message with 100-500 kb/s speed only.

Why team cant fix this permanently for once.
all other sites are using cloudfare so team should consider a permanent fix.

I can confirm that due to the recent Recurbate maintenance, the plugin is having issues with cloudfare. I've tried to follow the steps on page 1, installing FlareSolverr, but when I run the .exe, the console says everything is successful, but JDownloader is either saying a Proxy error, or a plugin error. Is there a guide to how to get FlareSolverr to work with JDownloader? Every other guide I've seen isn't for JDownloader.

I've fixed the recurbate.me problem.
The issue was not related to Cloudflare.
The domain recurbate.me redirects to chaturbate.com so their new main domain is recu.me. I've updated our plugin accordingly.
Update your JDownloader to get said update.

Even started a new fresh download (after JDownloader update) to ensure it wasn't that.

Recu.me has a special/strict Cloudflare configuration.
Make sure that the User-Agent value under Settings -> Plugins -> recu.me matches the User-Agent value of the browser your login-cookies are coming from.

In my tests, it's working fine, tested with both a recu.me free- and paid account.

Oddly enough, I've come on today, went to start the downloads, and it's saying the same thing. Redone the cookie login, made sure the custom agent value was correct.

The custom value agent doesn't need be be sourrounded by anything? "Like this?".

I've coped the custom value token from the cookies export from the recu.me site.

Yap, just the plain value.

As explained in the first post of this thread, Cloudflare can be triggered by various things and at any point of time.
Please re-read the first post of this thread.

Cloudflare based problems are no JDownloader bugs.

I've just re-tested this and it looks like recu.me might have added another Cloudflare layer/trigger on the video page which then sets additional cookies.
If single video download is failing for you, try this:
1. Delete your recu.me account in JD.
2. Open any valid video URL in your browser. If the Cloudflare page appears, let it process. You might even want to use the url to the video you want to download.
Example for a valid single video link: recu.me/video/82216392/play
3. Now re-add your recu.me account via cookie-login method.
4. Now if you are lucky, you should be able to do at least some downloads.

Regarding recu.me premium downloads:

Unfortunately nothing worked for me, guess I'll have to give it some time. An old HLS Downloader I used to use works, but it's more time consuming and can't downloading in bulk, but it'll have to do for now until I can get JD working again. I appreciate your help!

Looks like they've fixed the serverside problem.
However, they did also change their website.

I've updated our plugin accordingly so premium downloads should be working fine again now.

Unsure what to do then. I've made sure I'm on the latest version. Added videos, doesn't work. Removed Recu account, solved cloudfare on site, copied cookies, added account, still get same issue. Ensured user agent value is correct also.

First of all thanks to the JD-Team for the ongoing support here even with difficult websites/cloudflare and demanding users!

1. It's true that since some days the cookie method is working not as good as before (it expires usually after 1-3 downloads and you have to enter a new cookie also you can't download many in parallel).

If that is caused by more strict configuration by the website, there is not much we can do I guess. However I have a question/idea about how we could maybe make it more easy to use. Is there any chance of automating the process of adding cookies? I thought about something yt-dlp (**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**) is doing with the "--cookies FILE" flag which reads a "Netscape formatted file to read cookies from and dump cookie jar in". Users could then extract cookies from browser with plugins or python scripts or something and JD imports it for example with some sort of FolderWatch. yt-dlp also has an option to extract cookies directly from the browser DBs with "--cookies-from-browser" but I guess that's not feasibly with JD as it is often running on servers with no access to client browsers.

Just another tip for users: add a new cookie, limit the download to one and gradually increase the number till the downloads fail, then you know the threshold of what's possible without running into cloudflare issues.

2. A problem which arose for me some weeks ago is the file name parser. For several weeks JD was able to parse the filename {date}_{performer}_{video_id}.mp4 within the link crabber but this behaves different now. Currently it's only {video_id}.mp4 in the link crabber and only when the download is eventually starting, the name is parsed to the format {date}_{performer}_{video_id}.mp4 but with a strange side effect, every value but the {performer} is correct while {performer} is most of the times not the correct one.

3. Did you thought about adding hls download support? It could also help if the other method is not working.

Yap but that is not caused by changes on our side.
Contact the recu.me support if you want more information about that.

1. This is not planned.
2. This is already possible using e.g. an EventScripter script which obtains cookies from any source and puts them into the password field of a pre-specified recu.me account.

Recu.me account downloads are limited to 1 by default.
Users need to proactively increase them in the recu.me plugin settings so your hint is fine but most users are using the default settings anyways.

The fact that the extra data only gets added right before the download is started is not a bug but is the result of Cloudflare kicking in as added items are typically link-checked without account (= without extra cookies) - accounts are mostly only used for downloading.
I could change this though in the case of recurbate, using less requests is better if you ask me. Let's say you're adding 20 single items and your login-cookies are used during linkcheck already: That may increase the chances of Cloudflare kicking in again earlier.

The wrong username value however sounds like a possible bug.

I do not see the need to add them as fallback for premium mode as this is why users are using premium accounts/what they're paying for and I've only seen this failing serverside once.
Also HLS downloads do not support resume in JD and they're generally much more prone to failure.
...though then again if enough users need that fallback or option, I'am for sure willing to add it.

That's a fair point but at least for me it would help, since I use the browser every now and then and letting cloudflare verify in between would be enough to update the JD cookie aswell. The hint with the EventScripter is good, I will look into that.

I agree, it's good to have as little requests as possible to make it more stable. But we can digg into the wrong {performer} thing.

This are two random links where it happened:

The first one started downloading so parsing happened which is ok, but the performer is wrong. Interstingly the performer which is parsed seems to be an old/alternate account of the same performer.

Well FlareSolverr is no fancy software project with GUI - it does require some advanced knowledge to be setup and used.

Because it is still a 3rd party project, we will unfortunately not provide any help with it.
You will need to do your own research / trial and error and/or maybe open a ticket in their github project to ask any open questions:

Correct - JD does not have account support for that website.
We only add account support if it provides benefits such as the ability to download faster or the ability to download private videos.
Ifc you think it's worth adding account support for "rule34.xxx", please let us know the benefits of using an account for this service.

since yesterday, Artstation website uses Cloudflare protection. Unable to download a picture with JD, even with a cookie-method connexion.

Downloading from the website works fine (using MaxURL).
