Change download directory on multiple (but not all) packages?
I have two main JDownloader 2 download directories on separate drives. Let's call them C:\Downloads and F:\Downloads.
I have a large number of files downloaded to each of them via JDownloader 2, almost all using the option to create a subfolder based on package name. I have upgraded drive F (so that it is now larger) and wish to clear space on drive C. Therefore, I would like to transfer all packages/folders currently on C:\Downloads to F:\Downloads from within JDownloader 2 in bulk (not one at a time), without breaking JDownloader 2's links to the files. Is this possible? Last edited by beechcott; 18.01.2017 at 06:27. |

Select the link(s)/package(s) and rightclick context menu -> and change destination folder. That way JDownloader will also move the files from A to B

for memory you can't have any download links selected, only packages.
also you can disable the move function if you don't like it (it modifies dates so quite bad compared to os move). settings > advanced settings > GeneralSettings.movefilesifdownloaddestinationchangesenabled

This also works with selected download links. JD then asks if not all links of a package are selected, whether to change the download directory for the package or only for the selected links. If you choose the latter, the links are moved to a new package with the same names.
