For filesonic premium speed problems, I wanna throw this out here, just in case it helps anyone.

I'm a filesonic premium user, but these last few months, I've been getting downloads of as low as 15kbps. Rapidshare free and Megaupload free gives me 1mbps or more.

I've noticed it's very file dependent. During the same time, one file may download as slow as 80kbps, while another file may download at 5mbps. I'm thinking that a lot of filesonic's files may be on some slow ass servers/lines or something. They're probably sacrificing quality just to keep up with demand.

Just try to download a different source link for the file you want, and you might be surprised at how fast it downloads.

A few months from now, I'll re-evaluate filesonic and see if it's worth renewing the premium membership.

Well that doesn't help. And 1 connection is way too slow. Any other tips?

@hemstock

I think it's better to use more simultaneous downloads than to use more connections per download because jD has no dynamic chunking.

Usually when I download with 1 max connection per file the speed can be as low as 1/10th of what my maximum speed can be but it's never ever maximum speed (1.2mb/sec). When I use multiple connections it maxes out easily. However even if I use more downloads at the same with just 1 connection each, the speed is still not that great even if I have like 5 downloads at the same time.

This might be real-debrid related because I don't see any technical reason for that. What you're writing would mean that RD would decrease the speed of its connections when you download more than one file simultaneously and it wouldn't do that when downloading one file with multiple connections. Did you already contact them?

Are you running any software (virus, firewall, ad-blocker) that might interfere with your downloads?

Better slow but sure than fast but might fail.

I did contact them waiting for a response. I never had this problem with the normal JD version and a premium fileserve account.

I do use kaspersky but I have added javaw and java to exceptions so I am not sure.

Is anyone having problems with jdownloader and filesonic? I have premium account and this is the error I'm getting.

I don't think it's my connection as I've tried megaupload and it works fine and tried browser and it seems to work. Just downloader doesn't work :(

It can't be as you suggested as I've just downloaded something yesterday and my system was not changed in anyway.

I'm running it on ubuntu.....no updates was performed from yesterday to today... after playing around a bit with jdownloader setting it seems this is the problem.

Guess chunkload is not implemented yet?

In the past this message has also been reported by closed accounts because of account sharing. Are you using proxy servers or jD's reconnection feature?

Can you please check your account in your browser? If it shows any message referring to account sharing, a simple logout and login for the account in your browser might already solve the issue.

Nope my account is not shared. I've tried login and logout and even change password but it still doesn't work :(

Man wonder what the problem is. Gonna try and put it on another pc now. This was working perfectly just yesterday :( Maybe filesonic did something?

No, your login/password for filesonic.com. A complete log file can also be useful in case the problem can't be reproduced.

I seem to have similar problems as reported above. I saw a bunch of downloads suddenly starting to get "download incomplete" messages. I checked downloading with Firefox, which went ok! Then I tried dloading with another download manager (pyload) and that failed as well, when both would work ok yesterday. JD startet this behaviour about 1-2 hours ago. Could this be something FSC introduced to discourage DL managers?

All failed downloads show that 55 bytes have been downloaded.

log of the last fail **External links are only visible to Support Staff**here.

oh, and many of the files aren't new. (like the last few hours)

Hello!

I made a test with a shared acc:

@JD:
- with premium: error -> download not complete
- without premium: OK
then at the same time started
@Firefox
- login with premium: download OK

So for me, it looks like Filesonic changed something in the login process?
However not killed freeloaders still.

There probably is a problem with the plug-in. Please wait for a jD programmer to look at the complete and detailed logs. Note that log scarps don't help much.

Also provide link examples as this might be a problem with some FSc servers.

It's a problem with filesonic we have sent them a email we will need to wait for a reply/response as time differences are present.

UPDATE:
I've been told that filesonic staff are working on the problem.

Yup - the problem seems to be on filesonic API.
I've added couple of filesonic links and started them - the first one got error: "file not found" (of course no problem in browser), the second downloaded without any problems. In meantime I've reseted the first one... and it also downloaded without the problem.
So it seems like some timeout on their side when checking files (with API) on the server.

ADDED:
right now many disconnection/connection lost errors from filesonic - they are probably making some changes.

I confirm there is a problem with jdowloader and filesonic premium service. The dowload is possible with browser and jdownloader free service.

Maintenance On Our Servers

Dear Content Owners,
We were running some maintenance on some of our servers and thus download stats weren't fully processed.

As of now, we are still processing downloads for 26th of October 2011.

Referral earnings will not be calculated until the downloads are fully processed, which we expect to happen shortly.

Rest assured that no earnings are lost. All downloads will be credited as soon as the system processes them.

We thank you for your patience and appologize for any inconvenience.
Regards,

One thing that annoys me since I use Nightly version is that after a few failed connection, it throws tantrum (i.e. the "plugins outdated" state). The solution (at least on the user part) is to click the stop button, then click the play button. The downloads will resume. That's a trade off from the regular version who will constipate on similar (?) situation and need a restart.

I don't know about real debrid, but unless the host do not accept resume command (or the file is gone), you can always resume the download, even if you try it a few days later.

Hi!
I also have this problem that filesonic shows me "Account invalid! Try Email as login..blabla..." although my login on their page works.
Is this problem already solved somewhere inside these 88 forum pages yet? Thanks a lot for any hints, links or whatever!

@ Tillic
This happens to me quite frequently with Filesonic and Megashares. Looking in the Premium section of Settings > Host I discovered that the Enabled column had unchecked itself. Checking it again automatically verified that the accounts were still current and all was well again. I have to do this at least twice per month so I would love to know what is causing the disabling of these accounts.

Connection problems can cause these issues. Most of the time firewalls and viruses cause these connection problems.

Default Unexpected rangeheader format:null - Filesonic

Hi there,
I've been using JDownloader for awhile now, its the best program I've used! But for the last month I have had the above error message turn up for everytime I try and download something from Filesonic (my only premium account). I've tried the following to troubleshoot:
I have tested other providers and there is no problem there through Jdownloader
I have tried downloading from filesonic through both a browser and MiPony and they both work fine.

So I'm really confused what could have happened? I've checked the log but not having much luck figuring it out. I've attached the log.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!l
