Passing all files over a certain size to Jdownloader
Like the title, I want to pass all files that are over a certain size to Jdownloader automatically, without clicking "Download with Jdownloader." Is it possible?
Also, I have another question. I would like to have Jdownloader not show me the "various package" folder whenever I download multiple single files. However, simply unchecking "Group single files in a 'various package'" just makes them be classified into their respective individual folders. I just want to see files, not folders. Is that possible either? I will look forward to your answers. |

Seems I only answered the second query, and forgot to answer the first question. That would be dependant on your browser right or browser extension?

Don't believe browser extensions can do that task? I could be wrong as I haven't used myjdownloader in years. Please wait for someone who knows the answer to your query =]

Only the link itself is known. I'm sorry but the extension doesn't support *add while surfing* and I'm not aware of any extension that does. What exactly do you have in mind?

I used Internet Download Accelerator in Windows and its browser extension had an option to redirect all files that are over [insert_number] mb to it. I don't know how it is possible, but it is, so I assumed there must be a way to do the same in Jdownloader.

@drag0night: maybe we talk about different things?!
Of course you can know size of downloads when you actual *download* them and then decide to forward/stop/download them... But MyJDownloader extension doesn't intercept downloads in browser, it simply collects Text/URLs and forwards them to JDownloader. At that stage there is no information as such as it is a download, is it a html file..what size does it have. Also IDM Extension or browser also has to trigger/start the download in order to know the size. Maybe you use it different than intended? You should not start/generate downloads in browser! Just copy the links and let JDownloader handle the rest. You can setup filter/rules there, eg filter anything smaller than x mb

So the answer would be: No - this is not possible via our myjdownloader extension. It's either "impossible" our you'd have to find another browser extension that is capable of intercepting the browsers requests/downloads so it can forward stuff to JD. -psp-
