Default JD 0.9 don't read .jdc after today's update...

hi,

I made an update to day (409 updates since ~26-10-2013) then JD didn't launched, only the small icon in the systray.

So, I deleted the config/* files, rerun, then all my links were gone and JD don't read my saved .jdc. Also tried with backup/* files, same thing.

Then I uninstalled JD, made a fresh install of 0.9.581 but it updates so I still have the same problem : no way to reread my saved .jdc (tried with other .jdc, idem)

I didn't made any update since the end of october when there was a big trouble with the update but after the fix everything was ok. But today I don't know what is happening, seems to be the same thing,

any news, any people having the same problem?

is it possible to download jdownloader updated up to oct-nov and not after or to not download the updates after this date?

thx.

Hi JD 0.9 hasn't received core updates since 2009. We only release plugin updates and this should not have any influence with JDC. JDC is a serialized db, so it could be corrupted or messed up due to the java version your running. We have moved away from serialized db due to Java Version issue in the past.

And no it's not possible to downgrade JDownloader 0.9 to a previous month/date

ok, thank you.

I did'nt changed anything, even if it's an old system (win2000 with java6u23, the last compatible with 2k) it was working very well, so I was guessing there was a problem with the last plugin update. JD seems ok except if I update, I can't reload saved links and if I don't update, the plugin are out of date...

As stated plugin updates can not cause this.

It first appeared 1.6.0 u17ish we gave a warning via dialog message to JD 0.9 users. Going from =>17 could cause corruption events in the main configs and also in jdc. Make sure your not making jdc on old system and moving it with one with newer java, it could be the cause.
