Wohl eher ne BETA von ner BETA! JD wird irgendwie immer vermurkster von Update zu Update... ich meine es nicht böse, aber es ist leider so.

Da liegst du leider falsch.
Es wurden zwar hin und wieder Sachen kaputtgemacht, aber diese wurden schnell wieder repariert.

Im Grunde sehe ich das so: Wenn man genau wissen will was die Entwickler gerade machen und sich nicht zu schade ist, mal an dem Programm rumzufummeln kann man die BETA nutzen, aber ansonsten sollte man warten bis diese fertig ist.
Zwingt dich jemand, die BETA zu nutzen? Wohl kaum...

I switched to IDM... It does not have options like unrar...
But at least it has setting visible...
And they want you to communicate through teamviewer and afterward say: Heya! we solve the problem! but we do not how! as they said in other thread.

If I want to release stg stable (working on it for a year)...

Spaß beiseite: Leider ist JD die einzig brauchbare Lösung wenn man GB's an Daten downloadet die alle verpackt sind :D

Am I wrong or the new version has no file extraction capability at all?

I opened another thread asking about where to put the unrar passwords, but after that I finished downloading a no password file and it didn't autoextract as it it should.

Is that the way it will be from now on?

If it is that's a real pity, because that's one of the best JD and JD2 attributes.

A similar thing is happening with later MKVmerge versions: things you merge with them refuse to play on many players. So I use an older version.

Using the Advanced Setting I set "autoupdatecheckenabled" to disable (default value is True, so my setting is False (uncheck), but each time jDownloader is launch the "New Update Available" still come up.

Emergency update is disabled too, so it not that causing it. I also set the updateinterval to a higher value so it should not check every time I launch jDownloader.

I can't confirm this, since coalado has fixed this bug: http://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=45804, for me with "autoupdatecheckenabled" unchecked it works fine now.

Bekomme seit kurzem folgende Fehlermeldung beim Start des JD2 unter Win 7/64 bit:

Fehlende Schreibrechte zur Installation von D:\Programme\JDownloader 2\Core.jar. Bitte beende alle laufenden JDownloader & Java Prozesse und versuche es erneut! Kontaktiere unseren Support falls das Problem selbst nach einem Systemneustart besteht.

Ich mein, das wär erstmals nach der Installation von Java Version 7 Update 13 aufgetreten (hab 32 und 64 bit in separate Verzeichnisse installiert). Ich kann überspringen und normal mit dem JD downloaden.

Übrigens sollte in den Regeln Bugreports korrigiert werden, dass man Screenshots immer in png abspeichert (geht auch mit Paint), jpg ist für Fotos! Und wie funktioniert das eigentlich mit dem Log-Upload für JD2? Was wird da wie hochgeladen und kann mit jdlog://xxxxxxxxxx wie referenziert werden?

Kannst du alles einsehen, im Ordner Logs von JD.
Versuche es mal mit Java 6 das letzte Update. Es wäre möglich das java oder JD einen bug hat und es dadurch nicht geht.

Nein, PNG ist nicht immer die beste Wahl für Screenshots.

WTF is going on with Jdownloader ? Jdownloader update stuck and takes long time. Then I tried to install JD2 but, the links are not working?

2. Go to the path of instalation of JD2 and delete the folder called: tmp
3. Open JD2

It after to do that, the problem persists. Close JD2 and run the updater.jar

Na super, geht nicht, weil eine vorherige 6er Installation anscheinend nicht richtig deinstalliert war. Sobald ich diese Version oder die letzte 6er drüber- bzw. deinstallieren will, kommt die Meldung:

"Es liegt ein dieses Windows Installer-Paket betreffendes Problem vor. Eine für den Abschluss der Installation erforderliche DLL konnte nicht ausgeführt werden. Wenden Sie sich an das Supportpersonal oder den Hersteller des Pakets."

Auch mit JavaRA äßt sich das nicht deinstallieren, so dass ich auf der JRE 7 bleibe (keinen Bock, Win7 neu aufzusetzen). Gibt's ne Möglichkeit, den core.jar manuell auszutauschen?

ich habe das seit einigen Tagen das selbe Problem. Ich hab selber noch Java 6, vor kurzem auf die neueste Version upgedatet. Wenn ich JDownloader.exe als Admin starte, wird das Update durchgeführt. Kommt aber ein neues Update, gehts wieder von vorne los. Man könnte JD natürlich ständig als Admin ausführen, aber ob das sicher ist ...

In JD2, I have for a day or so been getting the message that there is a very important update. When I try to install it, the process appears to download OK but fails in the final parts. I attach a screenshot of the detailed error message.

Possibly related is the fact that for about a week, every time I start JD2 I get a popup saying that the previous update failed. I have never been able to prevent this popup.

I don't want to uninstall and reinstall JD2 because I have many items queued up and in progress, some of which take days to download from slow hosts.

But... maybe I have to.

Any help appreciated.

Problems here ... out of nowhere, the settings in jdownloader 2 are gone, completely blank. I did a reboot, update, re-installed and still not there. Anyone ever come across this?

Close JD2
Delete the folder tmp (it's on the install directory of JD2)
Open JD2

If doesn't work:
1. Close JD2 again
2. Run the updater.jar

That's it.
