Default wait for captcha slot?

I use many proxies which is useful for free sites that allow one download per IP. (say uploaded). In the past I could queue up a whole lot at a time, it pick one download per proxy and the captchas would come one right after the other. Now there's a captcha wait? makes it much slower for me. wondering what this is about.

thanks

x capthas over y time, this is used for recaptcha (at this time) to prevent degeneration of captcha quality. google punishes based on many factors, one of those factors is (non human like) volume.

shouldn't that be user configurable? at least for my user case, it makes it very difficult to use (and for uploadable.ch, becomes impossible to use, they seem to time how long it takes to enter captcha and if too long, will always fail even if captcha is entered correctly)

at this stage it is not user configurable and I don't believe that we will add it. We might need to work on what we can do with proxies. For example, if browser loop isn't allowed to work (disabled or bad browser), and google.com (recaptcha) account isn't added to the account manager, JD will revert to original code which now days returns really hard captchas.. If it's using that then we should be able to allow higher volumes, since their is zero chance of downgrading ones reputation (as you have none).

Plugins in which have tight sessions, we might have to add other code to prioritise its position in the queue.

right, I'm good at doing recaptcha's hard ("normal"/old school) captcha. and am happy doing them (some other captcha services that are all m/n/u type things with splotches are a pain in the ass and I have no way to do them easily). I don't mind handling the captchas myself.

anyways, seems like you understand my issue but right now, its a pain.

This is still a major usability issue for me, makes using sites that use recaptcha very very difficult to download many files from. I understand what one was trying to do, but it should be configurable.

I was downloading 73 mostly small files from uploadboy and was using my many proxies to dl, this captcha slot bs made what should have taken 10 min actually take more than 30. I had captchas counting down by .20%

I hate this. I would love to disable it for certain hosts even if I get harder captchas because of it

I hate to bother you guys but this has moved in 7.5 months. I still use hosts every day that give me torturous wait times of around 14 minutes if I stat too many dl's even though I use proxies

Please please do something about that

I don't know what happened but I can only start one download somehow even when I do have multiple accounts for the same hoster AND multi proxies.
Even the balancing options don't work right. Neither does the host rule (order, random). Sometimes it keeps showing starting. Sometimes no other progress other than showing the account it want(ed) to use. Force start download does also nothing except setting priority to maximum. A few days ago I could get it going again when changing proxy priority, but that's over too. Oh yeah.. captcha's.. what about cookies and multiple accounts? Does it keep it separate for each proxy? I tried incognito mode but that only resulted in a lot of recaptcha iterations. Perhaps something can be done with browser user sessions.
Hmm.. it gets even weirder. Just now at startup, ALL downloads were counting down to start with 46s or so exceeding the download count limits by far. Then some, went to a few minutes for a few and the rest of the statuses froze during counting. Logic errors, UI errors... ugh.

With that little information I can't tell anything. Would be wild guessing. Please provide alogfile, see https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...d-session-logs and post the shown logID here.
