Starting status continues for a few minutes after finished download unless...
...switching between tabs.
My situation is similar to this and this. For links like these, using not site-specific plugin, **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** downloads "freeze" right after progress bar reaches 100%. After a while, it may vary from 150s to 180s as far as I observed, then a new download starts if nothing changes. When switching to another tab, either link grabber or setting on the same situation, then a new download starts as soon as switching the tab. Setting JD's priority higher does not change the situation. Lowering or increasing max site connection number seemed to solve the situation, but it turned out only switching to the setting tab mattered. Log file: 14.03.23 20.31.19 <--> 25.03.23 11.07.28 jdlog://3724311370661/ Any idea how to let JD download continuously without such pause? |

I think I found a clue to this.
I have now over 17,000 links in JD to download. It seems that the problem mentioned above occurs when the number actively waiting links surpasses over between 3,000 and 4,000. When all links, that is over 17,000, are enabled, then the problem happens. And it seems the priority of JD matters when it runs inactively on background. Having figured them out, is there any way to go around the problem without disabling so many links? I would like JD to download them all while I am asleep. |

If your problem really is related to a huge downloadlist and/or lack of available RAM for JD, the following support article might be helpful to you:

@TomYam: Your JDownloader only has limited memory available. I recommend to backup your configuration, see https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...-configuration and then remove/reinstall JDownloader with 64bit version from https://jdownloader.org/jdownloader2 and then restore your configuration.
Also see https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...vmoptions-file You can always check about dialog, see https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...tion-directory the memory row and then can estimate when it is time to increase heap memory in vmoption file Disabling links will not help, as the required amount of memory is still the same. Thank you @pspzockerscene and @notice for your great assistances.
I am sorry for being so late in writing this. I found out that there was no change in my problem even after my JD2 switched to 64 bit version after carefully backed up the links and installed 64 bit version to a totally new place. Still, the only solution I found, that is switching the tabs when the speed is down, is effective on 64 bit version. So I think it is better to create a event script to do this automatically. Again, thank you for your helps. |

That shouldn't be the desired solution.
If you want us to have a deeper look at this, please re-contact us via support@jdownloader.org so we can do a Teamviewer live session.
