It depends on available/supported format.

Since YT player can play 6 resolutions I guess the other 4 are just unsupported by JD2.

Strange: some of them but not the rest.:confused:

I've tried several online downloaders and same problem. It seems YT changed something time ago and nobody figured out what exactly, but YT player does it, so it must be possible.

Edit: Just after post this, I found a site (ddownr) that dls the video first and then creates a link to their server (which JD2 manages w/o problem), so at least these guys are able to get the right link from YT. May be they can help.

@perspicacia: they can easily differ between browser, tools. in browser you have valid/verified cookies and those allow you to continue while JDownloader doesn't have them and then their rate limit kicks in. So you will have to wait until it works again.

They use different streaming formats and MPD is just not yet supported. After some time (maybe views, time after upload...we don't know) it seems they also provide other resolutions as supported format.

I used to be able to add videos to a custom playlist to watch later & JD2 would download them all if I copied the playlist URL but this no longer works.

Has this feature been dropped?

These are the links, the linkgrabber always worked from channel links, now it catch only the first pubilshed dates

@Spellbound: Thanks. Playlist is private and currently not possible to support because of unstable/broken account login. Once we've fixed the account login, JDownloader can make use of your account again and then should also be able to load/support the private playlist

Hello, same mistake with published date in filename (like at saviodp7)
(I think it was happen after last update - about 3-4 days ago)
