Default Memory leek and JD. Freezes...

Hello,
Win7 64 bit 64GB RAM (SP1 and all other updates including JAVA)
JD after start has 640mB RAM consumption.
ALTHOUGH the skins are being set to Windows clasic... and all GUI things are turned off.

Starting JD and loading some linklists last at least 30-45 seconds (although runnuing on a SSD Drive with an 3.4GHZ Core i7 and no other stuff running)

putting the links into the download list and starting downloads (netload.in or others) gets JDownloader to hang up soon - staying at 650MB Ram and 0-8% CPU...
?!
thx
ALex

What's the java version you're running (java -version)?

Memory leaks are a known problem with 64 bits versions of the JRE. It's better to use a 32 bits version of the JRE.

First make a backup of jD's config folder. If you come from update 15 and want to go to update 30, please read "Attention very important when upgrading to Java 1.6.0_26".
