Default Rapidshare blames Jdownloader, and locks my account

Hi,

I'm a long time RapidShare user.
As of today my account is locked again. The past times the explanation was always the same.
I'm supposedly using a script or a download manager that repeatedly acces rapidshare and so they say "causing damage to there infrastructure" I don't use any scripts, I tell them I use Rapidshare Manager and Jdownloader. And been doing that for years.
Offcourse its not their Download manager. They say it could be that Jdownloader isn't updated. I always installs jdownloader's updates.
Is there anything Jdownloader is doing to Rapidshare wich makes them lock my account. its been three times already and always the same explanation.
And they tell me to contact you.

Regards

Like xavyer indicated most hosters monitor ip access to the account, if you are using the reconnection module for other hosters (free downloads) it could show up in your logs that you're access your account multiple times (one after another) from different ip addresses? They could then think that your account sharing when many ip addresses are accessing your login details.

Reconnection => account sharing suspected, not 'repeatedly acces rapidshare'?

The reconnect option isn't enabled. Or it is and I don't know where to turn it off
They specifically said
"f you do not knowingly use any such program, someone else must be using your

> > > check your computer with an anti virus program.

> > > Please let us know if you have used any programs or scripts with this account.

thats what they have said in the past

If what you are talking about is the reconnect button next to the "read clipboard content" button. thats turned off

N3hal3m you did too many requests in a very short time. How many paralell Downloads and how many chunks do you use for download? Maybe there were many files in your list that may have failed (for example because of no space on your harddisk)?

Your account should be unlocked now, but please make sure to keep connections low.

So,

"too many requests in a very short time"= Too many downloads at the same time ?
What do you mean by chunks.
why would files in the list that have failed cause RS locking my account ?

Chunks = Connections per host

Example from coalado:
JD tries File 1
-> No Disk-Space
JD tries File 2
- > No Disk-Space

and so on.
Many connections (download requests) in little time.

Ha I understand the connections, I had it on max 5 connections/file on the lower right in the main download tab of Jdownloader. Or am I wrong?

I didn't have "no disk-space" errors for a while.

Does this locking of an account come with a delay?
Because I remember a couple of day earlier saving (transferring) a very large amount of files to my rapidshare and downloading them. Is there a certain download limit /day?, because rapidshare used to have a daily download limit.

Ho, and I use different computers at the same time sometimes.

I guess you shared your account. You had almost 10 connections/second over several minutes. This is hardly possible with one running JDownloader

its possible if you have multiple WANs though, each wan could have multiple ips. If that's the case I would email rapidshare and let them know that you have multiple internet connections / multi homed internet. If this is against rapidshares terms of service you will have to cease this practice. Most hosters do not allow account sharing and keep note that it's practically impossible for them to detect the difference between account sharing vs those that have multiple internet connections.

Just a note: Using proxies can also look like account sharing. Especially if there are multiple and/or rotating proxies.

Holy crap, this is getting complicated. All these terms
I'm think I better change my account's password
And yes I do use proxies from time to time.
And yes I give friends limited acces to folders by sharing the folder link.
I use rapidshare on a lot of different computers.

So, bottom line, less simultaneous downloads ? and keep connection/file in jdownloader at 2 max ?
Is that the right translation ?

only use it on one wan (internet connection with one ip address) at any point in time, otherwise they will detect it (via server logs and scripts) and will find your account and ban it again. Disable the use of proxies.
