Cool

Please, move your jD folder to c:\jDownloader and check the access rights of that folder.

Hi,

I have the same problem. Windows 7 32bit. Have the folder at c:\jdownloader and have granted full control permissions to all users on the folder. Have tried running as Administrator, with no difference.

Version 9.421

Any futher ideas?

Cheers,

Ah - fixed this by replacing permissions on all child objects within the folder.

For anyone else with the issue, right click the jdownloader folder and choose properties.
In the security tab click users in the listbox and click edit.
Tick the box next to "Full Control" and click OK.
Now click Advanced.
Click Change Permissions...
Tick "Replace all child object permissions..." and click OK.
Click Yes.

Cheers,

ah, thanks for info, thought that full controll is automatic for all children folder. will remember that, thanks!

yes wrong user rights can be tricky because normal user does not know anything about windows rights management
