Default What happened to Letitbit and Skymonk option???

I "updated" jD and now letitbit lets you download ONE file per day and SkyMonk option (which STILL WORKS fine on my other installation that hasn't been updated) is gone!

Did they pay you guys off since there's a message now to buy premium for letitbit?

I'm disappointed :(

Bismarck, would you please explain in a simple way - at least for me as I am too stupid to understand your previous explanation - what happened to the Letitbit plugin? I have the same sort of problem as mikebell - after the last update SkyMonk option is gone, Letitbit lets you add one file per day only, if you have an Internet connection failure - oops! - you start the whole process again (add one file per day only). That's a sort of very disappointing... If I install JD2, can I expect to download multiple files from Letitbit again without waiting bla-bla-bla or shall we wait for another JD update to fix the problem? I would appreciate a more informative explanation what happened to Letitbit plugin. Sorry for bothering

@BUTT-HEAD-007
We are no wizards.
We can only do what letitbit "allows us" to do.
The Skymonk feature is basically what their software called "Skymonk" did.
It allowed you to start multiple downloads without waittime and captcha and it was/is optional.
Anyways, it seems like they limited the speed for Skymonk (see posts above) so they either found out that we also use Skymonk and blocked us or their generally limited that (well, you can test this by installing their software which contains some kind of malware/adware).

Is this a good explanation for you?

pspzockerscene,

The explanation is perfect, thank you! You are wrong to assume you are no wizards

Would you please be so kind to answer a few more questions from a 'stupid user':

1) upgrading to JD2 whould eliminate the problem with Letitbit plugin right away or the situation would be the same;

2) can we expect that the problem with Letitbit plugin would be fixed in the future and have the Skymonk option onboard again;

3) is it possible to return the Skymonk option into JD now so that everyone can choose whether to use it or not even if Letitbit has generally limited the download speed? Now I have no alternative and have to obey what Letitbit says to do which is not very convenient.

P.S. I have once tried the original Skymonk software which led to my Windows system total crash. NEVER AGAIN, thank you!

1.Upgrading to JD2 only allows you to use JD2 features and get the updates faster.
The plugins in JD1 and 2 are the same, just updates get released instantly for JD2 and 1-3 weeks later for JD1!

2.As said, we first have to find out if Skymonk is only slow in JD or if it's also slow when using their tool.
If it's slow in both cases, we cannot do anything (wizards, you know :D).

3.Skymonk option has been re-added, please read the above posts and our update FAQ.

4.NEVER install Skymonk without caution.
I suggest using "Sandboxie" (if you use Windows) to install/run it.
Using sandboxie, your system will be fully protected from their adware crap.

EDIT

.bismarck did an update for skymonk!
Now i get 25 KB/s per link which seems to be the limit.
Please post your feedback here!
