Default ftp links duplicated several times

On this website:

**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

Select from 1 to 34 and copy. You will see that some archives are detected hundreds of times.

hmm
I have deduced the issue
links on the website are case insensitive, the FTP filenames from LIST do not match (as they are all in caps), thus then decrypter then adds entire directory which has many thousands of files.

Ok made changes which should resolve this. It will require a core update (which I can't issue) since I placed components outside of plugins, will need to wait for Appwork to push one today!

Chrome is able to get the files when clicking on the link, however with wget in spider mode doesn't work (I guess is case sensitive?). Is this a problem of the website or is fine the way it is?

most if not all ftpds are case sensitive, problem is the website had the links insensitive which caused the issue! I had to write a simple check to see if the ftpd is running in entirely in caps mode, which created a work around =]
