Really? No official api, no history, no website regsystem, no (fast?) support, nothing only captcha system for jd/mipony (only windows?).
Also, the faq is incomplete, there is no blog for reading about the updates and improvements of the system... Mr Lelim, you should fix this if you want CBH to become popular.

The problem is apparently solved now, but there's some issue now with Bitshare. The captcha fill-in box pops up after a few tries.

pyload also supports CBH. But I also experienced problems: sometimes it works, often it does not (but credits are still subtracted)... It's not reliable.

No wonder, it's christmas time and people are downloading presents for their friends and relatives.

Probably to make it more difficult for automated OCR-software.

Default Problem with CBH

Hi, JD can't download recaptcha protected files because when CBH try to solve the captcha appear a blank windows named CBH and when i close it appears a popup asking for captcha.

I have CBH credits, but it seems there are no people solving captcha.

Can some1 tell me a solution (or another plugin to use to solve capcha without paying?)

Thanks

I thought I was the only one with this problem .. I also stated that I have this error. know if this is normal or is a failure of the user?

Thanks for any help.

Hey guys I'm new to the brotherwood and would be great if you could help me with a couple of questions. I couldn't find a readme or proper FAQ so if there's one just point me there if you don't mind! I'm using CBH Captcha Solver BETA v1.1.8

how do you check how many credits you have?
My CBH Captcha Solver just has a green bar (while it searches for captchas) a white square on the left (where the seconds elapsed should be I think) and the Stop button on the bottom right)

how many do you get for each captcha solved? and for each Confirmation?

how many do you spend on each captcha?

What exactly does the "Send Log" does? what log is it sending where and why?

Is there a penalty if you fail a captcha?

Thanks

Hi,
When you run CBH Solver as an administrator, you will see your credits on CBH screen.
You get 7 credits for solving captchas, spend 10 credits for your own captchas to be solved. For confirmations you get 4 credits. If you fail a captcha, you lose credits, i don't remember amount now

Sendlog sends your solver application's and plugin application's log files to our solver. If somehow we want a user to send us logs, he can easily do it with that button.

I have a minor but strange problem on my Windows 7 system. The captchasolver program is generating disk activity on my second hard disk. If my hard disk is in the 'off' state, I will hear the platter spin up as soon as I hit the OK button to send my captcha answer. If my hard disk is already in the 'on' state it will also generate disk activity as soon as I hit the OK button. I even unmounted the file system but the results were the same. I found that disabling the device through device manager prevents the activity.

The only thing that stands out in solver_logFile.txt is the entry below.

Exception in btnOK - Object reference not set to an instance of an object.
at j.d(Object A_0, DoWorkEventArgs A_1)
at j.aa(Object A_0, EventArgs A_1)

I'm worried for the health of my hard disk.

Hi,
i really don't have any idea why that may happen. Do you use SSD? If it exists even when you unmounted the filesystem, i would suggest you a complete scan of your computer. Can you send me your log file for further investigation?

Here you go. I deleted the log file and waited for my hard disk to turn off before starting up captchasolver to generate this log file. Hard disk platter started spinning up as soon as I hit the OK button to send the captcha answer. I don't have a solid state drive. I scanned my computer with 3 different free virus scanners less than a month ago and I keep tight control over which programs are allowed access to the internet. Unauthorized attempts at internet access are logged and reviewed.

I don't think linkgrabber has anything to do with captcha brotherhood. My best guess is that Cloudzer simply isn't supported by jdownloader yet.

no. it can be parsed and downloaded before i update jacinfo and restart jd.

so where is the problem?

edit: it can be parsed and downloaded now. that's what happened. i don't know why.

Can the Jdownloader plugin determine whether a captcha has been solved correctly? Or is it possible, to flag a captcha which has been solved by another user manually as incorrect?

The FAQ state: "We have a complain and confirmation system enables that your credits will not be wasted as much as posssible"

How does this complain system work?

Not 100 percent sure but I think this is how it goes:

When jdownloader tries your solution and fails, the plugin detects the failure and sends your solution to another captchasolver to confirm that your solution is correct. If the other captchasolver disagrees with your solution, your account loses 12 credits (-5 credits overall) and the account that requested the solution is refunded 10 credits. You get 4 credits for verifying another person's solution as true or false.

I only wanted to know if the failure detection of the Jdownloader plugin works reliably. Since it is not possible to manually flag captchas as incorrect, this has to be done automatically (or it is not implemented at all within the Jdownloader plugin).
But Jdownloader does not offer any method to see if a captcha has been solved correctly. So the only possibility I can think of might be a certain time threshold. If the next captcha has been queried for example within 60 seconds, the previous one might have been incorrect. (Or, of course the captcha has been solved correctly and a new download from another file hoster has been started. But that could not be distinguished.)

Since ~8 days i get an error at startup of CBH.

CBH closes imediately after confirming error-message.

Any ideas ?
Is there a debug-mode or log-file to find out whats wrong?

Edit:
Ok, i found the log-files.
There's no hint ...
It ends with the same error-message.

So, to get 100 captchas solved, you need to solve 143 captchas of other people?? Why can't it be 1:1??
Maybe, because there are people who don't solve captchas at all, but pay you money for the work which is done by the community for you for free??
Something seems to be suspicious here.

If you run out of credits, and no non-captcha download is left, could we trigger the hibernate option if i configured it in jd?
Its a bit sad to have the computer running the whole night to see that some links had to be skipped

Uploaded with ImageShack.us

i uninstalled/reinstalled, problem persists, all it did was revert the urls in the solver config back to ocr etc.
