Things were working fine yesterday. This morning the captcha won't open. I force a download to start and all I get is an orange star. It is trying to open but stops. To be honest I think something in the advanced setting got changed but I can't find what it might be.

For now, Mark this as solved. I opened an old install of JDownloader which I never removed from AppData\Local and compared the settings. Found the incorrect one, changed it to the old install and the problem appears to be solved.

Once again the people at JDownloader have thought of everything. In advanced Settings the "?" showing the default setting and the back arrow to correct it saved the day

We haven't touched "CaptchaSettings.qualityensurancerules" so I'm really out of ideas what could have caused the problem you were having.
