I am using Chrome v107 on a Windows 10 machine.
I have tried adding a link to the linkcollector tab on myJDownloader and clicking the large "play" button ("Start Download"). The download speed number turns yellow, but remains at "0 B/S). I also get a desktop notification from JDownloader that a download has started, only for another notification to show up moments later that the download has finished. In reality, JDownloader did not actually download anything. Going through Actions -> Add to downloads achieves the desired result. |

@cs_project: In MyJDownloader you have to manually add/move the links from linkgrabber to download list first. In GUI version, this is a customized option for the Play/Start button. I could add optional setting to enable same behaviour in MyJDownloader if wished?

Hi, sorry for the late reply.
Yes, I ended up figuring out that MyJdownloader also requires the user to move packages from the linkcollector tab to the download lists first. I think adding this setting is a great idea. At the very least, the play button should be "grayed out" so the user intuitively knows that a download cannot be started by clicking said button (under the given conditions). |

Nothing to be sorry for!
I agree 100% ! That's not that easy as the current webinterface implementation has no callback for the status of the button. That's why I think default behaviour should match GUI behaviour
