I am using Chrome v107 on a Windows 10 machine.

I have tried adding a link to the linkcollector tab on myJDownloader and clicking the large "play" button ("Start Download"). The download speed number turns yellow, but remains at "0 B/S).

I also get a desktop notification from JDownloader that a download has started, only for another notification to show up moments later that the download has finished. In reality, JDownloader did not actually download anything.

Going through Actions -> Add to downloads achieves the desired result.
