[Solved] Daofile.com problem

Hi everybody,

I have a problem with JD2 and Daofile. JD2 refuses to DL anything from that site, arguing that my account is missing (see first screen cap)...

... but my Daofile account is duly set within JD2, active and with all its bandwidth (see second screen cap).

The files are available for free users (I can DL them directly via my browser).
Restarting/updating JD2 doesn't change anything.

Hi,

I've just tested it using a daofile.com FREE account (same you seem to be using) and a file that was not downloadable without account but is downloadable via free account and it worked just fine.

You either must have an account usage rule active which is not allowing JD to download via daofile free accounts or there might be a bug.

You are right. Daofile says the files can be DLed for free with a browser, but when you actually try to do so by clicking on the "free download" button, they finally tell you that they are premium only. Which basically is a scam. I won't be using Daofile anytime soon!

That's exactly what I was thinking that happened to you.

Though it seems like this does not happen for all files because the files I tested were really downloadable via free account.
That's why it is important for us to get example URLs to be able to help you
