Question Please help! I am unable to update JDownloader.

Hi, Please help me!
I am getting below error when I try to update the JDownloader

org.jdownloader.update.SelfUpdateException: Unexpected Selftest Result: FAILED javax.crypto.BadPaddingException: Decryption error
at org.jdownloader.update.SelfUpdateClient.validateSelfTestFile(SelfUpdateClient.java:488)
at org.jdownloader.update.SelfUpdateClient.finishSelfUpdate(SelfUpdateClient.java:320)
at org.jdownloader.update.UpdateManager.runFinishSelfUpdate(UpdateManager.java:940)
at org.jdownloader.update.DefaultCallbackHandler.onResults(DefaultCallbackHandler.java:369)
at org.jdownloader.update.UpdateManager.runUpdateLoop(UpdateManager.java:1023)
at org.jdownloader.update.UpdateManager$6.run(UpdateManager.java:378)

Something prevents the update. Please zip the complete logs folder and send to support@jdownloader.org

Thank you for fast response, I have sent the file to you by email.
You can find my email by Subject name : Logs File - Believeinbunny or search for "https://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?p=435954#post435954" you will find it.

If still you can't find it let me know

Thanks for the mail/log.
It seems you're using proxies? and looks like those cause some issues?
I suggest to configure JDownloader to not use proxies for updates to avoid such issues.

Would be nice if you could disable the proxies and check if updates work fine then

Thanks for the feedback! You should setup the proxies in Settings-Connections in way that updates always go direct and rest will use proxy.
How exactly did you solve it?

I had removed the proxies from my Jdownloader and clicked on update and it worked, after that I have added the proxies again because I need them.

Would be better to setup the proxy so they are not used for updates
Just click on edit and set to blacklist
and add
appwork.org
jdownloader.org
to each proxy blacklist BUT NOT for 'No Proxy'

That way JDownloader updates are downloaded directly and proxies still will be used
