Default Instagram folder name drops underscore, disabled: GeneralSettings: Clean Up Filename

Hi,

I disabled in "Settings -> Advanced Settings" the "GeneralSettings: Clean Up Filename" option.

Then I noticed that when I download from Instagram profile that have an underscore at the end, the underscore disappear and the folder name doesn't equal to the server's user name.

for exampe: user "name_" saves as "name", user "name__" saves as "name_" .

I would expect it to stay exactly as the username.

Thank you so much for your great work and help!

Greetings,
Oren.

Are you sure that this is caused by that setting?
Please post a log- and example urls.

Hi pspzockerscene,

I'm sure that this setting should leave the underscore at the end, but maybe other option cause this.
How can I check it? maybe you know an option that removes the last character if its underscore and I will check it?

You can try grabbing these 2:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

And you will see that if "Clean Up Filename" marked, the folders name will be:
wxxs
harley lyne

And if "Clean Up Filename" isn't marked, the folders name will be:
wxxs
harley_lyne

Instead of
wxxs_
harley_lyne

Logs are here:

Thank you for your support!

Greetings,
Oren.

I can offer several solutions

1.) global enable/disable the cleanup for package names
2.) global enable/disable of removal ending . or - or _ (either all or each as a setting)
3.) advanced settings to customize a regex that replaces/removes hits
