Default Retrieving pan.baidu passwords from added links

Is it possible to retrieve the 4 character password from a pan.baidu link that's been added to JDownloader's queue? I don't have the passwords anymore, but JDownloader still has them stored somewhere, even though it can't download them anymore.

Check the "Download Password" field in "Package or Link Properties" panel (can be enabled/disabled in bottom toolbar).

Thanks for the response! Is this the field you're referring to?

This field doesn't contain the pan.baidu password -- or at least, not by default. When I added pan.baidu links, the field would be left blank unless I manually put the password in myself. It still knew the pan.baidu password despite that field being blank or filled in with something else, however.

Yes. Correct.

It might be stored in the downloadlist (zip file) in cfg folder, in which case you can just try opening that zip file to get them.

Jiaz might be able to shed light on the matter. If you provide me more details (PM in forum or JD Chat), I can also check if it is possible to get them using eventscripter.

Yep, I managed to navigate my way to the pan.baidu links in the download list archive, and the pan.baidu password was listed under "important_link_password". That should be all that I need.

I guess my next and hopefully last question is why my cfg folder has six downloadList archives which are seemingly all identical? Probably doesn't make a difference either way.

Thanks for the help.

Whenever the contents of the download/linkgrabber list are modified, JD will save it in the cfg folder in zip format. By default JD keeps last 5 copies of those lists. Can be be increased to 20, in advanced settings.

You might also be able to find that password in the logs but the CFG is the easier way.

JDownloader uses Copy-On-Write to avoid loss of data. So after delay/max delay after last change, a new file will be written and oldest one will be deleted.

Is this what you're looking for? I removed the pass and comment, but those weren't the issues. The pan.baidu pass is listed under important_link_password.

Thanks. After next plugin update, the password will be shown in *Download Password* section for freshly added links.
