went to install JD2 and the extracted file is trying to install Lutul

Can you provide screenshots? I guess it's a bundle that is offered during installation. You can decline/skip those offers during installation or use the adware free installer instead

I'm sorry but I can't reproduce this. The install dialog doesn't come from us. Did you make sure that you've declined/skipped installation of optional adware?
