Default How to use "Delete Offline & Disabled" ?

In Linkgrabber I want to delete links that are offline or disabled. Often there are very many of these cluttering up the display.

I thought that the menu command "Delete Offline & Disabled" would do this. However, whether or not I select any files first, it seems to have no effect at all. Nothing happens when I click on it - all the offline links are still there.

Is this (very useful) feature totally broken, or am I missing something obvious?

BTW I'm using today's lastest JD2.

@Arbie
Because the clean up options of right click menu, work only for selected packages/links.
You can create a button in "menu customizer: linkgrabber bottom bar" to delete offline and disabled links without the need to select them previously .

In addition you can move that button to linkgrabber right click menu, If you want. I can show you how to do (via teamviewer), If possible.

The attached JPG shows an example. Clicking on "Delete Links: Offline & Disabled" does nothing, whether or not I select any links to start with.

Thanks, and I have now tried to customize the DLO&D command. See attached screenshot.

Can you tell me which boxes should be checkmarked to get the action you described? I can't figure out the logic or precedence. For example, if I enable "Include Unselected Links" then all unselected links are deleted, not just those that are offline, even though those boxes are enabled also.

You have to create a new button, you don't have to use the righclick button.
Can I send you my teamviewer ID and PW (via PM) to show you how to do?

@TsekLee: you can customize the actions via rightclick context menu editor
See Settings->GUI-> there you can access all menu editors

Please if you want to help be more specific.
I ask the question again just to stay on point.

I want to have a choice somewhere to delete, disabled links, links from certain hoster sites that i have unticked from the linkgrabber and must always to loaded onto memory.

@TsekLee: you could filter those in first place so they don't land in list, would that be an option for you?
or do you want to add them but mass delete at later point?
you only want to delete specific hoster links or all disabled ones?

@TsekLee: Hmm, I don't understand. At bottom, there is already a button to delete all disabled links at once in linkgrabber. right of the clear button (yellow arrow to the left) and then the arrow up right side, it contains a "Delete links: disabled"

You can also left click on hoster entry in quick filter on right side in linkgrabber to mass select all matching links and then hit delete key.
And why you want to add them in first place if you could just filter them so not getting added at all in first place?

In case you still mean something different, maybe screenshots help to explain this

Yes, as it seems i mean something different. On the right side where the hosters are listed i have disabled(unticked) some of them. Meaning they don't even appear on the file list at the left.
Now, even these are hidden, they are still loaded into memory and i want a quick way to delete them.

-> why not simply enable them (so they are visible) and then rightclick on the entry and delete them? exactly three clicks -> checkbox, rightclick, delete
There is no difference if the items are visible or not, they use the same amount of memory.
And when you want to remove all links from specific hoster, why add them in first place? just setup a filter in Settings->Linkgrabber filter and they will not be processed/added at all

No, i do not like this approach. Today i might have a hoster disabled and tomorrow i might want to re-enable it. Having the links added to the linkgrabber it will be pretty obvious that the linkgrabber did it's job but the links are just not visible on the left cause i have disabled the hoster from the right panel. Following your advice two months down the line i might forget the hoster rules i applied and a whole day might be lost trying to understand why Jdownloader is not adding my links.

If you are looking to delete ALL the links from a set of HOSTERS, you can define a list of those hosters in a eventscripter script and run it to delete them.
