@slumber6974: can you rightclick reset and try again that file and then create new log
that error is not part of the log and thus asking for new log ![]()

@slumber6974: It's strange that your DNS only resolves IPv6 but not IPv4, I guess it's due to old WinXP and old Java. Please try changing the vmoptions file

Yeah, it's all old and outdated - just like me
![]() I added the specified line to the vmoptions file but it seems to have no effect. At some image links I get a "Server error 403" - each time for the first image only. Here an example: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** There's no account needed for and I can't see any difference why other links work and this one not... Log without account: 15.02.25 09.51.32 <--> 15.02.25 09.52.21 jdlog://2909411370661/ Log with account: 15.02.25 09.53.34 <--> 15.02.25 09.57.25 jdlog://3909411370661/ Another example whitout any problems: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** |

@slumber6974: Thanks! We will look into it!
Just out of interest, why stick to that old OS? you can easily install any modern linux on it and have latest browsers and don't have to deal with huge security issues of that old os ![]()

Some more examples where the "403" error on the first image occurs:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** ... And all multi galleries from this user. |

Hello guys,
I noticed a very nice improvement on the DeviantArt plugin, it's very convenient to download an entire set in only click, much more better, thanks a lot 👌 However, I noticed there might be something wrong, since each time I download a set, the first image always return an error "Server error 403" whereas all other images are correctly being download starting from number 2. |

@Thordelan: thanks for the report. It's already been reported and we will look into it as soon as possible. Would be great if you could provide logs as well, see https://support.jdownloader.org/de/k...d-session-logs
Enable debug mode, restart JDownloader, now wait for issue to happen again and then create log and post shown logID here

Quoting myself: Quote:
As long as the first image is 'officially' downloadable [via account], adding a deviantart.com account should work around this problem. However, if the first image is displayed via browser and JD keeps failing, you might have found a plugin problem here.

Addendum:
1. Fixed problems with downloading the first image (DA account is not needed anymore). Update has just been released. 2. About multi image galleries where an account is needed: There are different reasons why an account may be needed but in the case of the links you've provided via post #47, all of them are downloadable here without DA Account ![]()

Maybe you're right and it is/was indeed a website problem. They seem to have some general problems the last days/last time... errors 500 or 502 or similar, images are often only displayed partially, long waiting times, and more... As far I've tested now the plugin works perfectly at the moment. Many thanks for your help and work, and sorry for making trouble! ![]() Last edited by slumber6974; 17.02.2025 at 16:42. |

These changes appear to have broken grabbing the galleries normally via the clipboard:
Core r50639 Log: 18.02.25 15.34.33 <--> 18.02.25 15.37.42 jdlog://1619411370661/ Links: **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** Adding the URLs explicitly to LinkGrabber just grabs the page assets and not the gallery. Afaik this kind of link was never supported.
Links which are supported look like this: Single gallery: Code:
deviantart.com/username/gallery/12345678 Code:
deviantart.com/username

Fixed.
Changes: - DeviantArtComCrawler: updated/fixed pattern to support this again: /username/gallery/(all|scraps) RE forum 96860 - DeviantArtCom: fixed missing 'guessed' file extension for items added via fast-crawl

Crawling those links works again, but if the multi-image option is set to "Slow", it doesn't package them, instead adding links individually. For instance, adding **External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff** with the option set to "Fast" results in the expected single package with 5 links, but with "Slow" results in five packages each with a single link.
Not an issue for my use case (I've set it to "Fast"), but may be for others. |

I've updated thi s to [hopefully] be more intuitive.
If the "slow crawl" result of an item reveals that there is only one result, no package will be set on it. As a result, if the previous crawl set a package aka "crawl all gallery links from a user", the items will end up in that package instead. If that does not satisfy all users, more settings may be needed. Wartest du auf einen angekündigten Bugfix oder ein neues Feature? Updates werden nicht immer sofort bereitgestellt!
