Exclamation UserShare and JD

Hello JD Community!
I'm writing my first post to expose a strange behaviour between JD and the UserShare host. I'll try to explain.

In UserShare, if I select one or more files and click on "Export selected", I obtain a list in the format
Code:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff**
If I give this link to JD, it replies that this file is offline.
If I use the link in the format
Code:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff**
, JD works fine and detects correctly my file as "online".
Even in the latter case, the oddity is still present because, if I have an archive splitted in 10 pieces (somename.part01.ra, somename.part02.rar, etc), it loses its filenames and JD reports it as ten different packages and not one package with 10 files in it.

This behaviour is strange... I remember that, first times I used US, links where exported in the "anonymous" format. Now they're exported with filename.

I can provide further info (JD logs, US links to test), just let me know in this thread!

Best regards anf thanks for bringing us THE BEST solution for download files!

Keep in mind that JD uses the usershare linkchecker which means that filenames can't be displayed directly in the linkgrabber.
If you want you can try it on your own:
usershare.net/checkfiles.html
The linkchecker only shows if the file is available or not.
It doesn't show any filenames/filesize's.
Also please post example links.

Thanks for the prompt reply!
US linkchecker works with both versions of links, the difference is that it doesn't bring the filename if the link is in the format without it.
The same file (I'll post US link later, please be patient) results online for US linkchecker in both formats. JD gives me offline if I use the full format (with filename) and gives me online (correct) but WITHOUT filename if I use the "short" format. This comes up in a bunch of DLs in JD without knowing the correct filename.

Please wait a bit for US example links.

Best regards.

I'm waiting.
Note that i can probably fix the "offline" bug but still...JD can't display filenames directly in the linkgrabber because we use their linkchecker and it doesn't display filenames.
Note that JD always uses the short linkformat.

Another strange behaviour... The following links works in JD in the short and long format but (as they are part of a multiple rar archive) they should be one package in JD. Instead they appear as 10 different packages named with the US hash:
Code:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff**
Different from this, the following links appear offline in JD:
Code:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff**
If you remove the filename part, they appear online but without a filename they're useless.

I can also confirm that their linkchecker sows what you give it: the short or the long format. Of course, if you use the short format, you don't have any filename.

Hope these to be enough infos, if needed more just ask!

I think it's a matter of filename's length: JD truncates the filename to 12 chars or something...

No, you have to wait.
The only chance is using our developer version but waiting is easier;)
