Default Linkgrabber and premium not working

Hi guys.

A while back, I applied an update, the one who modified the UI (which I don't like but anyway), since then JD broke, I've tired reinstalling by the way. It won't recognize any premium accounts that I have and the linkgrabber is not able to grab anything !!

Could someone help me ?

Which JD version are you using?
Where is your log?
Which hoster(s) do(es) not work?

I too am having this issue. I am using Mac OS Snow Leopard (10.6.8). My JDownloader version was a previous version that was working solid with no issues. After last plugin updates that were done yesterday, Jdownloader would not load up and would stay stuck in splash graphic and I would only be able to shutdown via force quitting. Since nothing seemed to work, I uninstalled and reinstalled a newer version 0.9.581. Once I did this Jdownloader would now start but, unfortunately almost nothing seems to work:
-Cannot reconnect no matter the settings.
-Link grabber does not seem to be working at all.
-Autoupdate not working (maybe because the app isn't connecting at all, but there you go)

Whatever the case Jdownloader now seems to load up but is useless as does not seem to be able to do anything with it. Nothing seems to be working. I tried reinstalling several times but same result.

I tried attaching the log file to this post but for some reason the WYSIWYG editor of this forum is not responding to any of my clicks. What the hell is going on?

I tried posting it as text but it would have to be incomplete as apparently there is also a character limit and the log file would surpass it by more than twice the 100000 character limit. Is there is anything I can do to solve this as JD has become a very useful app and I would hate to have to switch it to something I'm not use to. Either case, hope this helps.

Default My Jdownloadr is f*cked

My Jdownloadr is f*cked,

I just ran java -jar jdupdate.jar from terminal to see if I could remedy the current issue on JDownloadr and upload the plugins. I can't even access my log file anymore. I am back now again to splash screen freeze mode because I run the updates. There is definitely something going on with the last batch of plugin updates that screwed up my previous version of Jdownloader and apparently it did the same thing to version 0.9.581. So beware. If anybody knows how I can access the log files from outside of the application or in the directory, let me know. In any case, apparently JDownloader has gone extensively buggy. I would like to know if there is anything that might be done to resolve this issue? Also how does one go about uploading log file data here. The editor WYSIWYG editor buttons don't even respond to anything.

I am using the last one, the one with the shitty interface ! (Can we get back the old one ?)

My log : I dont what that is, I tried your tuto, but I don't get "errors" per se, but It's just that JD won't grab any links and won't recognize my premium !

And it's on Rapidgator.

And sorry for the delay,I forgot altogether that I made that post ...

For linkgrabber, enable clipboard monitor, next to 4 green arrows.

That isn't the issue. At least not for me (I have this problem too- although I am able to grab SOME links, but which ones seems really arbitrary).

Ever since the interface-changing patch, some links (from various hosts- at the moment: uploaded.to, rapidgator.net, extabit, and http links are all stuck) just won't get checked for online availability.

The progress bars marked "Checking online availability" and "Linkgrabber operations are pending" get stuck, either at no progress or at some artibtrary level of progress (some files from those hosts get checked, others never do).

Oddly, when I stopped the modules and tried to check online availability again and again, eventually some of the ones that got "stuck" went through- some, but not all.

I'm running Windows 8 64 bit edition on a laptop, and on a desktop.

JD 0.9? I don't get interface change, only get Oboom adv.

*** Read: http://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=57486 ***

I don't have links from those hosts, but 4shared links work. Please provide example links, the screen shot so we know how it is now, and maybe we need log that is created with:
java -jar -Xmx512m JDownloader.jar -debug 2> errlog.txt >log.txt

Huh. Not only can I sometimes eventually force a link to get checked by waiting a while and then trying again, but I can also just force jdownloader to download them by selecting "continue with all" and then just forcing the downloads.

That borks the auto-sorting, but it's something.

As for a screenshot, you mean a screenshot of the client with the little progress bar for checking online availability stuck?

I mean I don't know how the interface change looks like.
Your errlog.txt shows -> existing jD instance found!, means that you need to close JD before doing it.

Okay.

I tried to upload the errlog but it was too big, so:

Sorry, the log doesn't contain link grabbing activity.

The interface, seems just skin change.

Maybe you can try JD2 (still beta).

@ForbiddenOne

I see in the logs entries for plugins that no longer exist.

Are you keeping a heap of links present in download tab for history? I strongly advise against this, if you are doing so.
