Dear JIAZ, many thanks for yor interest to my problem and tankyou for your suggestions very apprecieted.

Your solutions is working for my OS WindowsXP SP3.
I downloaded and installed the FFMpeg from this link:
mega.nz/#!LYNm0ARD!U8_xvNRchJkdJdH1uCHmeMc1WCao6mFwJ7KdonsM2Sk

and shared and static version (for my personal backup) from:

rwijnsma.home.xs4all.nl/files/ffmpeg/ffmpeg-N-89661-ge45f7bc-win32-static_legacy.7z

rwijnsma.home.xs4all.nl/files/ffmpeg/ffmpeg-N-89661-ge45f7bc-win32-shared_legacy.7z

And all version working very well.

Many Thanks for your suggestions and for your competence.

Bye for now.

I did that and it worked until today when I tried to get a Youtube soundtrack and it gave me:
"An error occurred (Youtube.com)
Try restarting the link (plugin outdated)"

Eventually I checked the ffmpeg setting and saw that the "binary paths" had been reset to the Windows 7 ffmpeg.
So I changed them back to the XP ffmpeg.

Failed again.
Had a look and JD had changed the paths back to the Win7 ffmpeg.

Tried again, same thing.
So I deleted the Win7 ffmpeg and now it works.

JD should not override a manual setting without at least informing me.
And the error message in any case is at best uninformative, since the error is nothing to do with Youtube.

I assume JD will next time it updates download and reinstall the Win7 ffmpeg and do this again?
Or will it only do that when there is a new version of ffmpeg?

Thumbs up

SOLVED : IN Windows XP!!!

With the ffmpeg.exe and ffprobe.exe from the radicachic member link, at mega.nz/#!LYNm0ARD!U8_xvNRchJkdJdH1uCHmeMc1WCao6mFwJ7KdonsM2Sk (copy and past to Opera, download the zip file from there). Go to the ffmpeg in the C:\Documents and Settings\......\.... instalation of your JD2 , remove the older and past this two .exe, and you are able to download your prefereded video. THATS IT. VERRY SIMPLE!!

I tried , and work just fine.

If u encouter any problems REINSTALL A NEW CLEAN JD2, AND DOIT AGAIN THIS CHANGE OF ffmpeg.exe and ffprobe.exe. ARE SURE WORKED JUST FINE.
