Default rapidgator plugin problem

hi
i have a premium account with rapidgator but the plugin in jdownloader keeps telling me that i dont have a premium account and i try refresh and it trys to refresh for hours and hours:outch:

Please enable debug mode in advanced settings, restart JD, check account again and upload the log.

Can you add your account? Does it show up as free account? or just an error message and counter? Did you double check in browser?

Default Connection problems

I have been using Jdownloader for years but lately I jeep losing the connection. The download starts out fine, goes up to a reasonable download rate but then it loses the connection. The display shows it spooling slowly down to 0mps then it disconnects. I've tried using an older version of Jdownloader but no joy. I use a pemium rapidgator account as I have for a long time. Nothing has changed as far as I can tell. Rapidgator of course says it isn't them. I'm lost as to what to do.

Default Rapidgator Problems Connecting

Recently, the last update or two, Rapidgator has become troublesome.

When I start Jdownloader 2 it tried to check Rapidgator and cannot. Tries for quite some time and sayd something to the effect - Rapidgator cannot be checked.

If I run a Refresh manually, same problem.

If I delete the Rapidgator account and create a new one it is Ok - until the next time I start the app. Then I have to go through the same process again - removing the acount and adding a new one.

I'm working on this issue. Will check on Monday. I guess it has something to do with their firewall.

Same problem here. I think it's related with the new feature "IP checking", introduced by RG a couple of days ago. Disabling this new feature does not solve the problem. There's a temporary solution: if you go on RG website and login with your premium account, JD2 checks the account successfully and downloads start. But after a while (I think when the HTTP session expires) the trouble occurs again, until you refresh the RG homepage and so on...

I just says "loading information" for a long time then times out and says "cannot check account."

Have no idea why my rapidgator premium account is so slow when i download things i made a log if anyone can help me out it would be appercaited

For those that are having issues, I've been told there is a user profile setting on the rapidgator website in which you can change which seem to influence connection.

does not fix the problems i find that rapidgator download fast randomly it does what it wants usually slow tho =/

Some comfort that I'm not the only one having problems with Rapidgator. Did have a premium account for a while but reverted to free mode a few months back and since did successfully use a few times - only ever occasionally used as always flaky performance, so part of the reason for not continuing with premium.

Since few weeks ago though, have tried 3-4 times to use RG Free and keep getting Skipped - Account is missing error. Have tried some of the suggestions in this thread - editing account entry (although always was showing Green OK symbol) and deleting, re-adding entry - all to no avail.

Hoping log might shed some light to those more expert than me. Thanks

just had a quick squiz at your logs, looks like the files are premium only links! If you double click on the status column you can see the download candidates used, and it will show you respective error messages for each.

@elmo0081
rapidgator hasn't ever been a hoster for 'speed' its always been unreliable in my opinion, I would also go to say probably one of the worst of the majors in terms of performance for value for money.

Following one of their forced password resets Jdownloader is returning a 'please wait' response from the server and disables it for an hour. Removing and re-adding the account doesn't help, nor does turning off the IP check mentioned above.

Logging in via a browser works fine.

It has something to do with their firewall/protection. Too long time not logged in browser with the account, the api will be blocked for the ip. I'm working on this issue

there firewall is a huge unknown, I know they ban people on https and http still works... seems different rules which are not shared based socket port 80 && 443

if they continue to have these issues, best to just turn off API mode and be done with it! There website doesn't change in the scheme of things, and API just brings us constant dramas, where as it should be the other way around.

I got it to download faster by changing the download option on the account to selected files checked, and max out the mbs option. checked direct download and turn the chunks to 3. not sure what worked but its faster now lol

Default Jdownloader 2 Problem downlaoding

Hi

I start downloading, it downloads for 5 min then stops and the status keep changing from starting to download as per the attached. If i stop and re-download, the download never starts, it keeps doing the same same status change.

If i reset it downloads for a bit and then stop.

probably caused by your ISP and transparent proxy or via antivirus/firewall software stripping the http request. The range requested isn't what's received and the download failed.

seems like transparent proxy. set max connections to 1 and reset links in error case

Experiencing multiple, repeated events of "Plugin outdated"
Happened several times yesterday. Sometimes file d/l & sometimes get error "plugin outdated." Not a normal occurrence for me.

Seems like the error is caused by Cloudflare which is used by the multihoster "zevera.com" through which you are trying to download rapidgator.net links.
So it is definitly not an rapidgator.net issue but more a Zevera and/or Cloudflare issue.

SocketException: Connection reset-> Either firewall of rapidgator kills your conneciton (try less max connections) or local Firewall/av are messing with your downloads

First of all, my english is very poor.
please understand me.

I'm rapidgator premium user.
download speed is getting slow.
and a few seconds later, download is disconnect.
restart download, same thing repeat.

I use Kaspersky.(already set app/network rule for jdownloader 2)
so....this time, turn off Kaspersky and restart download.
but, no change. same issue.
Please, help me.
