I'm getting consistently slow download speeds with K2S, and it's showing the "forced download flag."

Any way I can fix this? The slow sleep started a few days ago.

JDownloader doesn't influence/limit speed. The forced flag is shown when you force the downloads and not start normally via Play/Start button in menu bar.
Make sure that the speedgraph doesn't show any red line, as this would mean you have enabled the speed limit. you can disable it in settings menu at lower right corner.
Did you check speed in browser? Please use taskmanager - network tab to compare real speeds
