Question [Already supported] Plans for Java 19 or 20 support?

Are there intentions to commence support of Java 19 or 20?

@zonetrooperex: Both are supported and there are no known issues /at least lime time when tested. Java19 I did test this week without any problems. Java 20 I tested EA builds some time ago, also without any encountered issue. At the moment JDownloader supports Java 1.6 up to latest available version, see

You can easily start JDownloader with any other JDK/JRE. Either start directly with java.exe -jar JDownloader.jar... via commandline or create start script for this or rename the java folder in your JDownloader installation and the launcher will search OS for compatible java version up to JDK21.
In case you got any further question or encounter an issue, please just ask
