Default resume partially downloaded file with different address location?

I am downloading a big file. I am about half done, but the file from the original download address link is no longer accessible [I believe the download link is only alive for X minutes after the download starts on that site]. However the file is available from that site, but at another download link address.

If I start over from the beginning I will be in this situation again (i.e. cut off before the download finishes, as that site is slow). I am using single connection per file and the host supports resume. How do I continue my downloading of that file using the alternative download address?

Thank you.

Not possible at this stage, we do have this planned but it will require an entire new download core as atm everything is based around the link that gets added first and this can't change. At this stage I don't see this happening within JD2 initial stable release as it will require huge amount of work, and we have plenty of existing bugs we need to sort out before creating our next major design change.
