Default PLEASE FIX PUT.IO connector

Just fix it, it's been months since a rather unpleasant interaction with one of your mods who assured me that it wasn't broken, with really poor logic.

Put.io offered free accounts and help.

But you did not fix it.

Can you fix it now? If you don't want to support Put.io please just tell me.

Thanks,
Will

I could not find a bugreport or open ticket for put.io. Plugin got touched last time middle of the year.

Please provide example links and logs, https://support.jdownloader.org/Know...d-session-logs
and post shown logID here

You can close this - I finally figured out that you added or defaulted to 'store all packages in a directory'. It seems this change wasn't well communicated to anyone as there are a number of other posts (that answered my question) with people having the same issue.

Thanks,
Will

So all working fine? You want recursive folder support? Then please provide some example links, then we can add support for that as well

Default Bug: Files continue to be labeled "offline" even after confirming online status

Since JDL2 seems to 'lose' my put.io account info pretty frequently. This results in JDL2 thinking that the files are off-line. Once I go into settings and cycle the check next to the put.io account (making it active again), I have to have JLD re-check them and they are correctly identified as online - the bug is that the Name is still "Offline Files."

I don't think I have to send you a log to reproduce this problem....

Thanks,
Will

Default Put.io connector bad (yet again)

J2 says that the account is "Temp Disabled" - why?
Why for 60 min? Is there logic behind this?
I can log in and browse put.io - what is an "unknown error"?

Can you please fix this! You've been having issues with put.io for years and it _really_ isn't that hard.....

Frustrated,
Will

Default Overriding/clearing delay timers

How do I clear these? I am having a phantom (bug) host problem connecting to put.io, one of many that are unresolved here no matter my posting.

Anyway, how to I clear these - they are super duper annoying.

Thanks,
Will

@dngrwill
1. I've merged your put.io threads.
2. You've never provided logs and/or example URLs which means nobody was ever able to check your reported issues.
3. What you want is to use our application in a way it is not designed to be used:
It is supposed to auto-decide which wait-times are suitable.
If you however want to automatically change this behavior, you can do this using EventScripter scripts but none of our team will officially provide detailed instructions as what you want to do is basically a bad workaround and not anywhere near a solution for your issue(s).

Please post your log-ID here | bitte poste deine Log-ID hier.

Smile Wrong and bad architecture

pspzockerscene

https://board.jdownloader.org/showthread.php?t=72852

So my question was trying to understand how to re-set the counters.

That question does not require a log.

If "auto decide" is not working, or getting wrong information, then your solution makes a bad problem UNUSABLE.

The timer means that you can't try workarounds, so you are stuck until it gets fixed.

Please also note that the bugs are almost ALWAYS in JDL2's code.

So YOU make the system unusable by your own design - not sure that's a "best practice".

Thanks,
Will

Depends on the error, error handling within the plugin. If its unhandled error, it could fall to generic which is non specific. Without seeing logs from session that has issues its hard for us to respond or even think about changing plugin as we don't know whats happening.

Both of this is wrong.

Please obtain our forum rules!

You are here reporting an issue for over one year without giving us any of the required information (log & example URLs).

You can either continue to spam post here or just follow the subforum rules and give us the information we need.

By the way we are open source so you can actually prove your point by simply looking into our code - mabye you will find the bugs that exist according to you.
