Default Request: Pause-Modus-Taste

Hallo allerseits,

Start, Stop, Stop sobald Downloads beendet, Pause ...

Was meint der Rest dazu?

LG

PS English Version:

I would appreciate if the pause button would be standardly removed or moved to another place.

At least every second day any user arrives in forums worldwide and moans around, he can't download with jd2 anymore faster than 10kb/s ... mostly always he pushed accidental the pause button.

The download speed can be capped easily without the pause button if needed.

So my request would be to remove the pause button per standard or move him to another place like: start, stop, pause if downloads are running, pause (10kb/s) ...

What does other users think about it?

Thx

Mydgard

I would like to support this suggestion. As Mydgard wrote,is this pause mode a feature which (as my experience shows) is not very frequently used. But instead it causes false bug reports where users complain about poor speed. They assume that the host/multi host has a problem, but the real reason is an accidentally enabled pause mode...

Of course there users which use this mode as intended. Therefore, I think the best solution is to hide the pause button (right to the play button) and create an entry within the settings menu to enable this button again.
Benefit: Expert users can still use this feauture, other user won't get confused by this and support services get less useless bug reports.

Edit: added a poll for this question.

Edit: I think the same applies to the 'Enable/disable premium accounts for download purposes'.

You guys just changed my opinion - I also voted against it by default, you guys are absolutely right.

@flubshi
Yap the enable/disable premium accounts via toolbar - you re probably right.
Also, most people will always have their accounts active if they have premium accounts.
