Request: Show totals of selected items
In the Downloads list, I would like to select (highlight) some titles and have JD2 show me the Total Bytes and the Bytes Loaded.
This could appear in the "Download Overview" panel below. That now shows info on all titles in the list. If instead it responded to 'selected links' as I am requesting, it would be far more useful to me. I usually keep a couple of months of old links in my list (for review) and giving me totals on stuff long ago completed isn't very useful. That could remain the default (when nothing is selected) and would appear just like it does now, for those who do find it helpful. Or the info eg. "1.3GB loaded of 4.7GB total" could appear on the right-click menu, if any titles are selected. I have wished for this many times. When more than one number is involved, the computer is faster and more accurate than I am... Thanks- |

download overview does show based on selection, don't think this is the place for stats within right click context menu myself.

EDIT - I just found the setting... One of those things I'd expect to be enabled by default but that's personal pref I suppose. Now it works as I wanted. Thanks!
BTW - what is Smart Info? Last edited by Arbie; 24.11.2015 at 01:14. |

smart info is less info, there are more involved stats if you unselect that option.
