Hi,

I have downloaded few Vimeo videos in various resolution and lately for 4K ones (HLS) contain no sound.

Sample:
**External links are only visible to Support Staff****External links are only visible to Support Staff**

Can you investigate or let me know what setting that need to be fixed?

Hi,
Go to Settings --> Plugins --> vimeo.com --> Enable ALL resolutions
Then avoid downloading a "HLS" version (contains "HLS" in filename).
The http versions will be fine and have sound.

Thanks for the prompt reply. What I did was to remove the option Load Original version and as well untick the option of 1440p and 2560p and I was able to download the reduced version with sound.

Nevertheless, the reason for me is to download the best version which is 4K or HLS therefore I will wait for the resolution (I know it will be a while)....

Using external download tools such as e.g. Chrome Addon "Video DownloadHelper" you may be able to work around this and get your quality version with sound - or download the lower quality HTTP version, grab the sound and add it to the highest quality HLS version of JD.

Just saying - workarounds are possible.

Some links seems to be broken.

For example this link works perfectly:

I had "Return a single best result..." activated and HLS version doesnt works. Fixed with assoemitro solution.

both of your "referer protected" URLs are working fine here when using them exactly how you posted them.
... so do you mean the "no sound" issue?

Working fine here.
Please keep in mind that this issue only affects all "HLS" qualities e.g. this will be without sound:

CENSORED_HD_HLS2560x1440.mp4

This will be with sound:

CENSORED_SD_WEB426x240.mp4

No "no sound" issue, directly HLS mirros of vimeo doesnt work, no sound no video.

What do you mean?
For testing, I downloaded the lowest resolution of both of your URLs and both came with sound.
Please make sure that you got every quality selected under Settings --> Plugins --> vimeo.com

Sorry, maybe i explained it wrong.

The problem is only the HLS mirror of vimeo videos (Best quality). I had all qualitys selected and enabled "Returns single best quality ...". So the plugin chose the HLS version and failed.

No and I don't see this happening anywhere in the near future/ever.

Here are your workaround-options:
1. Do not download the highest quality.
2. Download using other 2rd party tools such as youtube-dl or using browser addons such as "Video DownloadHelper".
