Default Links not adding automatically to jd2

I have used jd2 for 2 years with no problems but my computer crashed and I had to reinstall it and have altered some of the options.
Now, when I copy a link, it does not automatically show up in the jd2 linkgrabber, I have to go to add links and add it from there.

Does anyone know what to do to put it back to normal so that mty links automatically show up in linkgrabber?

Thanks for looking

Upper toolbar, note-block-like brown symbol with a checkbox (clipboard observation) --> Turn that on.
