Default Syncing my account

Hi,

I have JDownloader on one laptop and have downloaded it as well on a new desktop. Is there a way to sync the software with both computers? Currently I'm signed into both computers and I do not see a setting to do so.

Thank you!

haro

I'm sorry but there is no sync available. All settings/accounts/links are stored within the cfg subfolder in your JDownloader installation folder. You can backup/copy it to another installation and override/replace the cfg folder (backup it first). This is NOT a merge/sync but a simple MOVE.
Or do you ask for *how to move accounts from one JD to another* or something else?

Hi Jiaz:

Thank you for your reply and for answering my sync mystery! Although I use your software all of the time, I will confess that I'm still a newbie, it's best for me if I don't start trying to move anything, messing up is not my favorite task.

Much appreciated,

haro

You can't *mess* it up when you do a backup first Just close JDownloader and do a full copy/backup of the cfg folder and you're safe
