Default Does large download lists cause high Memory usage?

Hello. For some reason, even when no downloads are running Jdownloader will use 2.5-3gb of RAM.

I have a downloads list going back 4-5 years with many downloads, which I keep for history sake.

This is the only thing I can think of, as to why JD would use so much memory when no download or extraction is running.

Is anybody able to shed light on why this would happen and if there is any fixes?

Default

each entry in the list requires memory yes
we do not recommend keeping links present for ever and a day.
we do have pending svn ticket to create support for history but that hasn't been created as of yet.
